"Okay everyone" Ms. Carter said. "I want everyone to say their name, 3 things about themselves, and what they did this summer."
"Everyone is going to get a chance so think about what you're gonna say"
"Lets start off with you" She pointed at a boy in the first row.
He stood up and turned around.
"Hello everyone, my name is Andrew. I play hockey, I like the colour blue, and I have 2 sisters."
Then he sat down.
"You forgot to say what you did this summer." Ms. Carter said.
"Oh... uhh, well, I went to Mexico"
"Good" Ms. Carter said.
I didnt really listen to anyones until it got to the third last person. I guess I was last. Time really zoomed by, and next thing I knew, I was intoducing myself to the class, even thought they all knew who I was.
"Hey, I'm Christina. I love the colour green, I love music, and soccer is my drug. Something I did this summer, was go to New York, and Australia"
"Well done Christina, you have alot of confidence in your voice" Ms. Carter commented.
There was a bit of chatter starting to begin after I said everything. I had a feeling that all the talking was about me. The girl beside me, I believe her name is Anna, turned around and began to talk to me.
"It's Christina, right?"
"Yeah"
"What shampoo do you use? You're hair looks so healthy and smooth."
I have curly hair, but today, I waved it to look more classy.
"I use Chi" I said
A look of confusion crossed her face.
"Chi?"
"Yes, Chi"
"Oh, Sorry I havent heard of it before."
Then she turned back around and started talking to her friends.
I heard her say 'Chi'. Someone was asking her to ask me about my hair. Now I understand.
Then I heard them giggling. Were they making jokes about my hair now? I listened closly and heard the name 'Jayden'. I think he heard it too, cause he turned around to look at the girls. Before he turned back around, I saw him take a quick glance at me.
And Again, Ms.Carter had to come ruin the moment.
"Class, Class!" she yelled.
The class gradually got quieter until there was no sound.
"It seems as if we have our first class as gym." She said.
"Does everyone have a change of clothes?"
Everyone nodded. I guess our whole class was prepared for anything this year.
"Okay, I want everyone changed, and on the field in 5 minutes." She said before the class started chatting again.
Everyone grabbed their bags, and ran into the designated changeroom. The changeroom for girls was awkward. No one was talking, and everyone had their backs facing eachother.
There were a couple 'bigger people' in the changeroom, and they were taking off their clothes in a weird way, like somehow they could change without baring any flesh. I was the only one in the changeroom acually taking off my clothes, and changing properly. If any other girls were taking off their shirts, they had their backs facing me like they would feel weird just watching someone change.
Due to my comfortableness in changing, I was the first one out. Most of the boys were alreadt out though. One by one, the girls came out of the changeroom. It literally took forever.
Finally, we made our way outside. Ms.Carter appeared with a bag of soccer balls. This was my game.
"You have 2 choices" she said.
"You can either have a soccer game, or do anything you want with the soccer balls. But if you pick the game, everyone has to participate. Remember, you're being marked on this."
"What is you're not good in soccer?" one of the 'bigger' girls asked.
"As long as you put some effort into it, you'll be alright" she replied.
All the boys, and me, picked the soccer game. We had 11 girls, and 12 boys. It was 13-10. We were gonna have a soccer game.
