When I woke up the next morning, I was dressed in my pajamas and tucked in bed. Alex was sleeping soundly next to me. He was so cute when he slept. I fell back asleep with Alex for about 2 hours. We both woke up to Alex's phone ringing. He woke up and groggily answered it with his cute morning voice. He had this conversation with the phone:
A - Hello? Who is this?
Phone - Hi, this is Dr. Sherman confirming your O.B.GYN appointment today at 12:15 P.M.
A - Oh, Hi! We will be at the Seattle office at 12:15, right?
Phone - Yes, that is correct. What was the patient's name again?
A - The patient's name is Jo Wilson.
Phone - Ok, thank you. We will see you soon!
A - Ok thanks, Bye!
Phone - Bye!
"Who was that?" I asked. "That was Dr. Sherman, your new O.B.GYN." "What, but I didn't even call her or set up an appointment," I said. "I arranged it. We are going this afternoon at 12:15 at the Seattle office. "Aww babe, you didn't have to do that for me!" I started to cry. "Jo, I'm your baby daddy, I'm going to take care of you." "I love you, sweetie," I said. We got out of bed and went into the bathroom to get ready. I changed into this outfit that was almost not fitting my waist anymore:

Once we got ready, we headed out the door. It took about 40 minutes to get to the office since we had recently moved to our house in the forest/countryside.
When we got to the office, I sat down and Alex went to go check in at the front desk. He was being so sweet. I was so scared and nervous. He made it so easy and stress - free. Once he checked us in, he came back to me with a bottle of water and magazines. I gave him a little thank you kiss.
Doctor - Mrs. Karev?
J - Yes?
Doctor - Come back here with me for a few minutes please, we are just going to do some tests.
J - Ok, does Alex come with me or no?
Doctor - He can if he wants to.
J - Ok, I think I got it, babe.
A - Ok, let me know if you need me.
J - What are these tests for?
Doctor - The blood test is an HCG levels test to make sure you are pregnant, and the urine sample is just to make sure you are pregnant as well.
J - Ok.
Doctor - So, you can just fill up the little cup with urine and put it in the slot once you are done, ok?
J - Yep!
When I came out, she did a quick blood test and brought me back to Alex.
