After practice I shut myself into my hotel room. Everyone tried to get me to come out, but I didn't want to. I threw myself into somethinf to keep my mind off of the finals. I did that whenever I got to nervous and knew I would have a panic attack if I didn't. I had brought out a notebook and wrote two songs, did some theoretical science, and figured out the speed you would need to go to jump over five cars. That was then I remebered I needed to write a sonata for school. I pulled out music paper and started writtinf away.
"Aki!" two familiar voices called my name as my hotel room's door pushed open. The only person besides myself who had a room key was Naomi, who was bot one of the two. It was Mari and Minako. "Let's go do something!" They didn't let me argue and pulled me out of my room, bushing on my coat and scarf, but let me keep my music paper and pencil.
"Come on, we haven't seen you in months, and you're just going to be writtinf music the entire night," Minako complained. They both had me stuck under their arms on either side of me, leading me around.
"I'm sorry, but I have an entire sonara due before winter break," I hissed at them, takinf all my tempted up emotions out on them. They both stopped walking and looked st me like I was crazy. "I go to a music school, this is what they do," I informed them.
"No, you have an accent," Mari told me, "It's so cute." They both wrapped me up tighter and continued ont heir way. "Woh!" Mari decorated, pushing her face up again a window.
"What is it?" Minako asked, looking in the same direction as my sister.
"Yurio is enjoying the company of another human," she declared. I rushed over. I could see the familiar blind blob of Yura, and there was a dark blob acres from them. I pulled out my phone to zoom in to see clearer. The other guy was Otabek Altin, and Yura looked happy in his company. I was glad he found another friend, but it sorta hurt seeing him with someone else.
"Hey, Mari and Minako are here," we heard Yuri approach. I turned to see Victor was with him, or the blob I learned to recognize as Victor. "And they got Aki out of her room."
"By force," I grumbled, and returned my attention to my homework. Somehow I ended up at an outdoor restaurant sitting between a sobbing Minako and Mari. "Grow up," I hissed at them. I glanced to the side to see Yura was sittinf next to Otabek, and he had yet to say anything to me. Why did it hurt so much?
I got engrossed in my work, trying to ignore the world completely. One sentence entered into my consciousness, "You got completely wasted and started dancing. Everybody was watching." They were talkinf abour Yuri, my older brother Yuri.
"What!?" I asked, standing up and slamming my hands onto the table. "Pictures or it didn't happen." Chris easily brought out one and showed it to me. I pulled it up to my face, so I could actually see it. I only got to look at it for a second, before Minako covered my eyes and pulled me back down to my seat.
"We do not need to contaminate your innocent," she decorated. Both Mari and I laughed at that, way too hard. They truly had no idea how tainted my kind was.
"That's the best thing I've ever heard," Mari said, as we were leanibg on each other, stopping ourselves from falling over. Minako looked at us like we were crazy.
"I've probably read more smut than Chris has had sex," I told her, obviously in Japanese. "There is a reason why I have a book shelf in my closet." Her face contourted in confusion.
"Congratulations!" Phichit yelled, bring all our attentions. "Hey everyone, my friend just got married!" Cheers erupted from the entire restaurant, as Yuri tried denieibg it. I could barely see it, but the two of them had on golden rings. I knew they weren't wedding rings, probably not even engagement rings, but either way it was my ship. I pulled out my phone and snapped a picture, as holding back a scream.
"You want to scream don't you?" Mari knew me too well. I nodded, letting a little whimper out. They knew I wanted to keep my fan girl tendancies a secret. "We'll meet you back at the hotel," she sighed and let me run out, flippibg off JJ as I ran off. I was a block away and felt it was safe to let out a fan girl squeal.
That was when I realized my mistake. I didn't have my cane with me, since I was pulled out in a hurry. The on me things on me was my phone, a music paper notebook and a pencil. Not to mention I had no idea where I was, and didn't know the language of anyone around me, like I could even bring myself to talk to someone. I just decided to wander around until something looked familiar.
It hit me after a minuet of walking. I could just plug the hotel address into my phone. But I didn't know the hotel address. "Excuse me do you need help?" someone came up and asked me. They were tallong in a english with a heavy Spaniard accent.
"I'm fine," I said, even though I wasn't. I gave him a smile though. I tried to walk away, but her grbbed my arm and pulled me into an alley.
"Then I guess you can help me," he growled at me, aand threw me deeper into the shadows. He blocked the exist. I ran in the opposite direction of him, he quickly followed behind. I quickly saw a blurr of a wall approaching, but it didn't stop me. I used my amazing human skills to run up the wall a step and flip over the man.
I kicked the guy in the head on the way down. I landed with a thud. I was much more graceful on the ice than not. "That was awesome!" a familiar voice yelled. I got off the ground and saw a familiar blur of blond run towards me. "Can you teach me that?" Yura begged. I shrugged. It took me eighteen years to get that skilled.
"You're Akira, correct?" a new voice asked. I turned to find another person at my side. I needed to squirt to see who it was. Otabek Alton. Why was he still with Yura?
"Yeah, but people call me Aki," I shrugged, "Now we should get our of this alley before the guy wakes up." I ushered the two boys out of the allet and into a bussier street.
"We came looking for you," Yura explained, "I noticed how you didn't have your cane with you, and just sorta ran off." I felt Otabeka's confused gaze on me, and our connected hands.
"I'm blind," I explained it in its simolest form.
"And you're able to skate, with out your sight,"he seemed udderly amazed.
"Umm, I guess," I was unsure what he was so inpressed by it. You don't really need to see to skate. You just need to feel it. That was the last thing I said that night. The twin just ralked between themselves. I felt like I was butting in with somethinf I shouldn't be.
