The wind through his hair, the stomping of his shoes and the worried look on his face, anyone that knew him could tell that he, was late. After running for what seemed like forever, he reached the school. The walls were as tall as gumtrees, doors thicker then his head and fences blacker then the night.

As he entered, he was greeted by a familiar face, it was John. John and him have been friends since primary school and you could tell as they did their signature handshake. "Dude, I'm surprised you weren't late, we have legit one minute left till the bell!" John explained.

"Well, I guess I'm a really fast runner?" Sam replied. Sam is an incredible runner, he has made it to nationals twice now, looking on three.
"Well dude, catch you later." he said while the bell was ringing.
"Ok, cya." said Sam as he started to follow, but halfway up the stairs he tripped.

For being someone who runs a lot, he sure is clumsy. During the trip his unzipped bag spilled his books everywhere. "Oh let me help you!" said an unknown voice.
"T-thank y-you." he stuttered as he turned to face the person, then seeing the face of an angel.
"You should really be more careful." She said as she returned his books. He blushed redder than a tomato. He stood up and followed her to class.
"I-i never got your name." Sam said, wanting to know the name of this angel.
"Katie, my name is Katie." Said the angel now known as Katie.
"What a lovely name." he said accidently out loud.
"Why thank you." She replied with a giggle, "and you are?"
"Oh how rude of me, I'm Sam." He offered out a hand for a handshake.
"Nice to meet you." They both said, as if they were reading each others minds. They both gave a giggle and walked their separate ways to class.
"Who's ya girlfriend?" John said as he walked over.
"She's just a friend." he said as he looked into his chest.
"Then way are you blushing?" He said with a suggestive stare.
