Here is the story of a boy who fucked up,
He thought it'd be okay afterwards if he just sucked up,
Little did he know everything's not as it seems,
So he fucked around and lost the girl of his dreams.
This boy went out and got drunk in the sand,
His mind simply went blank with a bottle in his hand.
And as the liquid went down his throat it burnt like a fire,
Much like his words burnt her, the words of a liar,
But this boy thought of himself never of another,
He lost himself and in turn lost his lover.
As the boy sat and let himself go insane,
He finally caved and admitted his pain,
He screamed and he cried and threw his fists against steel,
As his life fell in shambles he could finally feel,
The sadness, the anger, the hurt he'd made her endure,
He had to change himself of that he was sure,
So that is the story of the boy who had it all,
His life was so perfect but he let it fall,
And as it tumbled and spun straight for the ground,
It was he who needed fixing was what he found,
He needed to change himself into a man,
He needed to listen, to care, to try to understand,
And as he looked at his life falling to his feet,
He knew he couldn't accept this humble defeat,
So he caught his life before it could shatter,
He forgot all those people who did not matter,
He made changes to himself on the inside,
And began to lift his life with a fiery pride,
While this boy who fucked up put things back together,
He befriended the girl who he'd love forever,
And as they walked the road simply as friends,
He knew they'd be happy together in the end.
