Time Weaver: Origins

Chapter 4 - Greet and Meet

"Time to find those gems!" boomed the dark voice.

At the park, a little boy was eating an ice-cream. But before he took his first lick, the ice-cream was knocked from his hand! The murder of his ice-cream kept on running, without saying sorry. This filled the boy with rage and sadness, noone saw but someone noticed. "Perfect, negative emotions! Said the voice. "Time for those gems. Now go my sparrow and evilize him!" He yelled as dark energy followed into the small bird, turning it from bright colours to dark black.

The boy, now crying, went to go pick up his dropped ice cream, but as he did, the sparrow landed on it! "Ice Scream, I am Eagle eye, I can let you punish those who wronged you, but in return, you have to get me something." Eagle Eye said with an evil grin.
"Yes, Eagle Eye!" The boy replied, and as he agreed, the dark energy engulfed him, and transforming him. The ice-cream that was in his hand turned into a cannon, attached on to his arm. "Who ever murder my ice-cream, will pay! Ice Scream yelled, as he floated into the air, shooting giant scoops of ice cream at those who tried to run.

"This.. is.. so.. Awesome!" Sam said while swinging through the city. "Like, I can even stick to walls, this is so cool!" As he landed on the rooftop, he heard a voice from behind him.
"So your the partner, my Gemling told me about." Said the female voice.
"Oh, hello. I'm.. I'm.. Time Weaver, and you are?" Sam said remembering that his identity has to be a secret.
"Um, I'm Speedy." She replied.
"Nice to meet you!" Both of them spoke in time with each other, while giving a handshake.
As they were about to sit down they heard the screams of many coming from the Sydney Harbour bridge. "Time to go and save the city." Time Weaver said with small annoyance.

As they landed on top of the bridge, they saw who was behind it. The attacker looked like a young child, as soon as he saw them he instantly yelled, "Give me the gems!"
"What, you mean this." Time Weaver said if a high level of sass, pointing at his watch.
"Yes, give it to me!" Ice Scream yelled, getting red in the face.
"Aww, does little Johnny need a timeout." Time Weaver said followed with a chuckle.
"My name is Ice Scream, and you will pay for bothering me!" Ice Scream yelled, shooting many scoops of ice-cream at Time Weaver, which he dodged using his athletics experience.
"Sorry, I'm on a no fat diet, I'm going to have to pass!" He said, turning from cheeky to angry very quickly.

He started to run at Ice cream, turning his whip into a staff. He jumped to attack but before he could, he took a scoop to the chest, sending him flying backwards, close to the edge of the bridge.
"It's a long way down!" Grinned Ice Scream, as the ice cream surrounding Time Weaver started to melt, slowly sliding closer to the edge.
"Not if I have anything to say about it!" Speedy yelled while throwing ninja stars, slicing through the ice-cream, setting Time Weaver free.
"Now we mean business!" Time Weaver yelled, death staring Ice Scream.
