Hearth only stared down at Kyle who fidgets on his seat. They are in Hearth's apartment and said boy was adamant on forcing his friend inside his neat room for interrogation.
Yale and John left a bit late since they were able to finish and headed to the nearest ice cream shop.
"And what happened to our time agreement?" Hearth wasn't angry, just disappointed. Kyle only wished he was angry instead of this type of treatment.
Rewind to what had happened earlier...
Sweetie decided to go back and retreat to her house after one of the most recent pranks Kyle made because the guilt was killing him.
Also since she didn't want to be caught by the teachers, she had a minor headache because of Kyle ranting about how hurt he felt and asking stupid question of what he should do. She told him to, maybe, do a prank and she wonders if she had to regret it.
Yep, pranks were his stress relief because he had to focus whole heartedly on the task at hand.
It had involved lots of fake blood. Which was just stickers and he had diligently borrowed Sammy the Skeleton. Suffice to say, he made Sammy dressed up as a teacher in his homeroom that was legit named Sammy.
He dressed the fake skeleton like a teacher, put him in a pose where his cheek laid against his knuckles. A caption read 'Just waiting for the students to become quiet'.
The fake blood was placed in ever students table along with multiple cringe worthy memes that were duct taped on their desks.
Taylor had decided not to see what was the commotion that happened in Class 2-A and just head on toward the last bus he had to take.
Ace was part of the officers or some sort of military in training in their school so he had to stay a bit longer.
Johnny was hell bent on staying home and didn't attend school in favor of playing this recent game he downloaded on Steam.
Hearth, Yale and John were at the library because Hearth's original plan was to just take a good look at the library and see if there were any craft books but that fled south when he decided to help Yale and John with their project.
So Kyle was left alone. He sat on a bench trying to clear his mind. Ace suggested meditation while Yale suggested to punch out his frustration. As much as they both sounded appealing, Kyle was still stuck.
He wanted to apologize but the universe might want to screw him up. Royally, figuratively, literally and all of those.
First when he texted Hearth and Sweetie, his phone died. Despite it still being 37% of his battery. Grumbling in annoyance he sprinted down to the library. Choosing the nearest and much more quickest way to go there.
But as he went there, he found out that the sidewalk he would have used IF there wasn't some sort of construction happening!
He sighed as he raked his fingers through his unruly hair, a tick mark forming. He decided to run towards another way to the library.
He sadly wasn't in shape, all that moping and sulking around in his bed made his body out of shape so he exerted more effort than he usually does. Which left him a panting mess.
He stumbled and supported himself on a lamppost and unfortunately, this lamppost had no real meaning of mercy as a dog had, undeniably, pissed there...
This surely was just a bad afternoon, Kyle had to remind himself for the 87th time as he trudged towards a public bathroom.
That was the 3rd instance, the first was his phone dying on him, second was the unneeded construction work combined with him panting like he ran a mile a minute but in reality only for 3 minutes, and finally a dog pissing on him.
