BZZT
I woke up to my phone buzzing.
It was a twitter notification;
"Can't wait to meet @KatFields_ today"
Hayes.
The replies came imediatly;
"AHH KAYES IS MEETING"
"CANT WAIT TO MEET KAYES AT MAGCON TOMORROW!"
"omg where are you meeting??"
Actually to be honest, I didn't really know where we were going to meet.
I tweeted back to Hayes;
"Excited to see you too :) @HayesGrier"
I looked up from my screen to my clock on my nightstand.
9:37.
I had 23 minutes to get ready.
I rolled out of bed and trudged over to my dresser.
I opened my shorts drawer and stood there.
I stared at at it with thought
"Skirt? No too fancy. It'll look like I'm trying too hard" I thought.
So I pulled out a pair of destressed light washed jeggings.
I closed that drawer to opened my drawer stuffed with shirts.
I pulled out an oversized white crop top that said "California Republic" on it.
I walked to my closet and found my red flannel and white high top converse.
I changed within a few minutes and headed downstairs.

"You ready?" my mom said.
"Ready" I say with a smile.
She started the car, and we were off.
"Mom where exactly are we meeting everyone?" I asked.
"At the hotel" she replied, slowing down as we aproched a stop sign.
"Oh okay" i reply.
I rolled down my window slightly and felt the warm June breeze blow through my hair.
The air smelled like grass. I look on the dashboard to see the temperature. It was 73° out.
I turn on the radio and look out the window as the trees go by.
I'm still amazed by the fact I'm now famous and part of magcon in only a matter of days.
My life has taken a huge turn, and for the better.

About 20 minutes later we arrived at the hotel. My stomach filled with butterfies; both from excitement and nervousness. Why am I nervous? I couldn't even answer my own question.
I unbuckled and hopped out of the car. I opened the trunk and pulled out my little black rolling suitcase. I started heading towards the hotel doors, but hesatated a little.
I hope Hayes isn't here yet, I'd feel awkward being second to show up.
My mom interupted my thoughts.
"Ah honey? I forgot my wallet at home! I'll be back in an hour or so! Please, don't talk to strangers a-"
"Okay mom! Love you!" I said cutting her off.
I turned back around and started walking through the hotel doors.
