Chapter Fifteen

Kate's P.O.V

I stepped out onto the open stage, no one was there, I managed to escape from everybody else, yes including Niall. I loosened my scarf and took a deep breath, why were things like this always hard to handle for me? I sighed again. "Gosh"... I whispered "What's wrong with me!?" I yelled to the empty arena. What's so hard about talking to someone? Is it because I just don't want to, or that maybe I'm secretly going insane.... "Insane.... Wait till mum heard that!" I said

"Till your mum hears what?" Someone said from the dark of the arena. "Who's there?" I asked. He stepped out

"Niall?" I asked,

"Haha no, I'm Cody, Cody Simpson. I played this arena the other night, forgot something I decided to come back and get it." he said

"Cody Simpson? Aren't you Australian?" I asked, he walked up onto the stage. "Yeah... So you and the Irish one from One Direction?" he said sitting down next to me

"Yea..."

"So why aren't you with him?" he asked

"Well, it's rather hard to explain"..

"Haha I'll listen." he said

"Last night, I was 'kidnapped' and my brother told my mum, and now she wants me to either talk to someone about it or come back to her and see a specialist. Why? Because I could be traumatized!"

"So why not talk to someone about it?" he said scooting closer to me. "It's not exactly as easy as it sounds-"

"If you went back home, you would be leaving Niall and your brother." he finished my sentence correctly

"exactly... And it's not that easy to just come out and say 'hey, yeah I was kidnapped, called someone I wasn't, kissed almost a million times and forced to eat chicken that tasted like barf, and worst of all I could have been raped". I crossed my arms. "Hey, it's alright. Here take my number, if you ever need anyone to talk to, if you ever need anything you just call me. I have to get going sadly, it was nice meeting you Kate."

"How do you know my name?" I asked

"I'm a huge fan of yours." he smiled kissing my cheek friendly. "You too."

" What's your favorite song?" he asked before he left. "Umm.... Probably 'On my mind' or 'IYIYI' or 'Don't cry your heart out'" I concluded

"Well maybe we can do a duet a sometime. You and me or you, me and one direction". He smiled

"That'd be nice."

"Well good luck and call me okay. Anytime, I'll pick up." he said leaving. I half smiled and looked at the paper, he had pretty hand writing. "Kate?" Louis voice said from behind me. "I'm in here". I called out. He ran to me

"Where have you been love?" he asked sitting next to me

"Here." I said

"Are you ready for tonight?" he asked

"Yeah... We're singing 'moments' and I'm singing a duet with Niall." I stated

"Haha what song are you doing?" he asked

"I'm not sure, but Niall said I know it."

"Haha.... Have you guys...." he asked

"What? No why is everyone asking about that." I asked

"It's me, of course I'm going to ask".

"Yeah.... Louis?"

"I prefer Jennifer, yes?" he asked
