Chapter 6

Kelly POV
I was in the hospital to visit Shay. She's feeling pretty well so the doctor said she can go home in like 1 week.
We were talking about some random stuff when she suddenly began to speak about Gabby. 'Wait, you remember Gabby?' 'Omg yes! I remember her again!' I quickly called Gabby and told her the news. She said she would come to the hospital as fast as she can. I talked with Shay about Gabby and then Gabby walked in. She looked scared.

Gabby POV
I walked into her room and saw Kelly and Shay. I was scared. I don't know why. I was just scared. I saw Shay looking at me with a happy face. I walked to her bed and grabbed her hand. 'I'm so happy you remember me again.' I said to Shay. 'I'm sorry, but you know I would never forget you for the rest of my life. You are my best friend.' I was so happy when she said that. 'You don't have to say sorry. It's not your fault.' And then Shay just crashed. We heard the monitor beeping very fast. I quickly called a doctor and then we had to go out of the room. We had no idea what was happening but we knew this wasn't good. We're waiting hours and hours, we don't know if Shay's okay. We hope so.

Kelly POV
We saw a doctor coming to us. 'I guess you are here for Leslie Shay?' The doctor said to us. 'Yeah, we are.' 'Well, I'm afraid I don't have good news. Leslie Shay had an internal bleeding and we noticed it too late, I'm sorry but she didn't make it.' 'No, this can't be true. The other doctor said she was fine! She could go home maybe this week! 'No no no, please tell me this isnt't true. It can't be!' I just began to cry. I walked outside the hospital. I'm just running, I don't know where I'm going. I'm out of breath, I'm like in the middle of nowhere. I just sit on the ground crying when suddenly my phone rang. It was Gabby. 'Hey Kelly, where are you? I'm worried about you.' 'I just want to be alone right now.' 'Kelly please, I know this is hard but we need to get trough this, together.' 'Okay, I'm coming.' After a long walk I finally found my way back to my house. When I walked inside Gabby and Matt where sitting onnthe couch waiting for me. 'Hey, don't you dare to walk away like that again. We were so worried.' Gabby said to me. 'Don't be.' I said to them. We talked about what happened these past few hours and then they left. I grabbed my keys, I got into my car and drove to the closest bar. I drinked a lot, I don't know how much but it was a lot. I walked outside the bar. I just can't stop thinking about Shay. I still can't believe it. I don't know if I can live without her. I need her. She was my support, she helped me with so many things. I could say everything to her but now I can't anymore. I'm standing on a bridge right now, just looking down and thinking about my life. My life without Shay. I just can't think about that. I don't want a life without her. I went over the edge. I just want to jump so I can be with her again. I put my feet at the end of the edge of the bridge. I close my eyes and lean forward.

I'm so sorry for this chapter. I just had to write this, please don't hate me. 😅 And I know I'm changing the subject a lot but I just can't write about one thing. Thanks for reading this chapter. I really hope you're enjoying my book.
