Chapter 31

Elena's POV

It's already 9:00 and I'm so tired. But Caroline won't let me sleep. We've been playing board games, and watching tv, and gossiping all night. There has been a lot of screaming and laughter and I now have a headache.

Don't get me wrong I love these two, but they are wild and so am I, but I'm tired, pregnant, and I can't drink.

The side effects haven't really kicked in yet. I'm almost four weeks pregnant. Morning sickness has happened once. I know it going to get worse though. But I couldn't be happier.

Caroline is painting her nails, Bonnie is reading a magazine, and I'm scrolling through my pinterest. Yeah, I'm one of those girls.

"So Elena, how have you and Damon been?" Bonnie asks breaking the silence.

"Good. Really good actually." I answer smiling to myself. If only she knew.

"Bonnie you need to get you a man!" Caroline exclaims smiling. Bonnie smirks and shakes her head.

"I'm not ready for that yet. I'm not over Jeremy. I miss him." Bonnie says looking down at the floor closing the magazine.

"I miss him to Bonnie. But he would've wanted you to move on." I smile softly at her. She nods her head and smiles back.

"Ok, so we should totally have a flash back to 4th grade, and have a pillow fight!! Vampire style. Bonnie you could you your powers to move the pillows. Don't throw a hole through eachother though." Caroline giggles.

"Caroline that is so corny." Bonnie laughs.

I can't do that. If it's vampire style it could accidentally hit my stomach. And plus what the crap is in her head? Vampire style pillow fight? Really Care?

"Yeah Caroline that's kind of dumb...Can we do something else?" I ask.

"Please? It'll be fun!" Caroline begs.

"Fine." Bonnie sighs in defeat. I shake my head.

"No, I'm not in the mood. I'm going to go take a shower, I'll be out soon." I say walking up the stairs. Before I reach the top Caroline says, "Elena!"

I turn around quickly thinking something is wrong, instead I get hit in the stomach with a pillow. If I'm being honest that would hurt as a human. It most likely didn't do anything to the baby but it could have.

"Caroline! I said I didn't want a part in It! What about that didn't you understand?" I yell angrily.

"What the heck Elena? It's just a stupid game! What has been wrong with you? Chill!" Caroline yells back with bonnie awkwardly walking into the kitchen.

"Well if you had a baby growing inside of you than you wouldn't be so chill now would you?!" I yell regretting everything the second I said it. Bonnie runs back in from the kitchen and Carolines mouth drops.

I run up the stairs fully and go into Damon's room slamming the door.

Carolines POV

Did Elena SERIOUSLY just say that!? My best friend is pregnant! Oh my god!! No wonder she has been acting so weird lately. But how? Vampires can't procreate. I mean...Damon Loves to try I'm sure, but still.

Anyways I'm sure Elena is pissed at me. I wouldn't have thrown that pillow if I had known. Bonnie looks over at me with her jaw dropped.

"Did she seriously say That? Is she actually pregnant?" I shrug and a huge smile appears on her face.

We both run up the stairs like excited teenage girls.

Elenas POV

I sit on Damon's bed as I mentally face palm myself. I can't believe I just said that.

I get my phone out of my pocket and dial the familiar number. 2 rings is all it takes.

D- Hey. Whats going on?

E- Damon I-

I'm cut off by Caroline yelling, "Elena!" Excitingly.

D- They found out didn't they?

E- Yeah, I'm sorry.

D- Babe it's fine just tell them not to tell anyone yet. How'd they find out?

E- Caroline threw a pillow at my stomach. I was mad at first but I realised it was only a pillow.

D- She did what?!

E- Damon I have to go she's banging on the door. I love you. Bye.

D- Wait no, Elena i-

I hang up the phone before he makes me put Caroline on the phone.

I get up and walk over to the door. I open it to reveal two very excited faces.

"Elena oh my God! How did you not tell us? Wait, is this a joke? This better not be a joke." Bonnie says, her voice loud.

"Its not a joke. I'm pregnant with Damon's baby." I explain.

"Holy crap! How? Vampires can't have babies!" Caroline yells.

"I know. Do you know the travellers that came over Bonnie? And they wanted to talk to Freya in private? It was the fact that I was pregnant because they spelled Damon and I. So after we.... uh, yeah I would fall with child." I say.

"With child? Wow you are really starting to sound like Elijah." Bonnie says giggling. I smile.

"Oh wow Elena I'm so sorry I threw that pillow." Caroline apologizes.

"It's okay, you didn't know. Just guys don't tell anyone please. We aren't ready to break the news yet. Caroline... " I smile.

"Hey! I'm not going to blab. Your secrets safe with me." She laughs.

"There is something else I have to tell you guys." I say.

"Your not getting married are you? Omg!" Bonnie says even more excited than before.

"No we aren't getting married. It's Klaus. He wants my friends as in you two, Damon, Stefan, Matt, Alaric and I to move with him in his mansion in New Orleans. I asked him if it was safe and he said he could make it safe. I'm still thinking about it. I think I might say yes. But it's totally up to you guys if you want to come." I explain.
