The sun was shining over ponyville, Twilight was in her castle reading a new book Celestia gave her, she had no idea why Celestia would give her a book on Mythical creatures, Twilight had no interest in Mythical creatures just as much as she had no interest in trying to find out if they're real. Starlight came into the room with a new book aswell! "Starlight! Never thought I'd see you reading a book on legends!" "Yeah, I wouldn't usually, I just thought there would be something in it seeing as I got it from Princess Luna!" "Wait, Princess Luna??" "Yeah? What's wrong?" " I recently got a book on mythical creatures from Princess Celestia?" "And....?" "She knows I have no interest in these sorts of things"
They head to Sweet Apple Acres
Twilight looks around to see if she can find Apple Jack "Applejaaaack?"
She walks into the barn to find Applejack sitting at the table reading a book.
"Applejack?" "Oh Hey sugarcube what's up?" "Why are you reading?" "Well, I thought maybe it would be rude not to, Princess Cadence gave it to me earlier!" "What? What's it about?" "It's about Hybrids why?" "Ugh follow me...."
After going to see all her friends, Twilight and the gang head back to the Castle. "Why are we here Twilight?" Rainbow Dash asks.
"Spike! Take a letter!"
"Dear Princess Celestia, sorry to disturb you, but all my friends, including me, have received a book from all Prince and Princesses, all of the same topic, 'legends, hybrids, Mythical Creatures, magical homes to creatures of unknown species and so on. None of us seem to have interest in any of these topics, and we wonder why you all sent us these!? We await your quick reply,

It reads
"My dearest Twilight,
I am sorry you have no interest in these books, but they are very important, if it's not too hard, I would like you all to re- read them. Then come meet me and others later, there's something we must discuss.

"I guess we have to re read the books...." "ughhh WHY?" Rainbow shouts "I'm not sure, but if the Princess says there important, I'm willing to obey her"
The ponies re-read the books, hoping to find some sort of clues, and eventually give up.
They go to the Canterlot Castle very curious....
