I ran away from the scene. Scared and confused much like when my parents died.....

Since I hate exercise and anything to do with it I needed to stop and lean against a tree. Man was I out of shape! My breathing ia like a walrus trying to make mating calls. Yeah, that bad.

Suddenly a hand appeared on my shoulder. I dove to the ground, so I was alittle ansy. Emmy smiled down at me, a sad one. She offered me a hand up which I gladly took.

"please take me home." I whispered to sad to look up at her beautitful face. "No, you can stay at my place. Its the one place he won't bother you. I promise." I nodded while Emmy picked me up giving me a piggy back ride to her car.

Driving down the road, I thought about my parents deaths and about Paul, Emmy, Taila. I wished my parents were here. I wish I could see their smiling faces and words of warmth.

As I was thinking my bobby pin came out of my hair dropping on the floor closer to Emmy. She leaned down to pick it up, taking her eyes off the road for a split second but in reality thats all it takes.

We were hit. I could feel the car rolling and my chest jerking against the seat belt. My wrist snapped like a twig and I cried out in pain but then the windshield shattered, bits of broken glass everywhere. Including my chest, where a piece was sticking out. I gasped and blinked away the pain or tried too.

             I closed my eyes. Surrendering.

There was white light so warm and soft, like a melody. There stood my parents. Happy bright and waving. Everything felt happy and peaceful. All I would have to do is walk over to them. Thats all. Quite simple. Or maybe not.
