I'm running through the woods, not sure what I'm running from. All I know is I'm in danger. I hear sticks and twigs breaking all around me, if someone or something was chasing me. Something scratches my calf and I scream and pain. I fall on my knees and I fall down a hill. It's quiet. I hear a snap of a twig, and I crawl against the hill so I would be harder to spot. I don't hear anything else, is it safe to come out? My clothes are torn, My skin is torn. I crawl out, nothing. I stumble as I try to find safety. I look up to the sky as theres tears streaming down my face.

Theres smoke. Yes, smoke. People, finding help is the best thing that can happen to me right now. I try to follow the smoke, but the tempeture is starting to drop and it's starting to get dark. I have to stay here for the night. I sit down on a log and start a fire of my own. Something moves in the corner of my eye. It hops again, I lean over and it's a frog, I grab a sharp stick and stab it. I stick the frog over the fire and wait for it to cook. I still hear twigs and sticks snap all around me. It's just your imagination, its just the fire, I thought. I also thought I saw figures that night, but just ignored it and fought my self to sleep.

-Morning-

I wake up like someone waking me up, like scaring me awake. I sit up, rubbing my neck, not the first time I had to sleep in this stupid forest. I've been stuck here for at least five days. I hear someone or something walking torwards me, I stand up and grab my spear I made the night before. They wall through the trees and freeze.

"Holy crap..." He says lowering his gun.

"How did you find me?!?" I say waving my spear around.

"I saw smoke out in the forest last night, and I guess that was you..." He says backing up.

I put my spear down and ask,

"Do you know if there is a town or city near by, I need somewhere to settle in for a little bit... Just until someone can take me home..." I say.

"Uh... Yeah I live in a village just a mile that way..." He says pointing behind him.

"Never seen one of those before..." I say following him.

"Where did you come from?"

"A city."

"Alexander." He says as he goes to shake my hand.

"Paisley." I say.

He pushes some branches out of the way and there's a stone path leading to the village. The village looks like it's hundreds years old, in not great condition. The buildings are cream and brown, but the cream has black and brown stains from dirt or dust. It's not the best place, but it will do for a couple of days.

"Welcome to Bornsbrooke." A lady says to me.
