Interview with @Halfblood_Princess

What is your username?
A. Halfblood_Princess
When did you join Wattpad? And for how long have you been writing (in general)?
A. I’ve been on Wattpad since November 2012. I wrote my first long story or novel in fifth grade (when I was eleven) but I’ve been writing poems and short stories since I was in third grade. But even way before that I would plan stories and write stories in my head. So I’ve been writing for the majority of my life.
What can you tell us about the current story you’re working on? Tell us a little about the plot and the characters in it?
A. My story, Silver Light, is a fantasy/adventure novel. It’s a story about three different characters all with different personalities and goals. Their lives are all very different. It has the basic magic and sword fighting things you normally see in a fantasy. Basically, one of them is a prince, one is a disabled wizard, and another is a girl who can’t remember her past. They all meet up and find a common goal among themselves.
Why do you think the readers should read your story (mention the factors which will be appealing to the readers)?
A. Although it’s a fantasy, it has things that mirror our world. The problems, the way the world is. Life is explored. The relationships between characters are interesting. There’s romance but it’s not the main focus of the story. There are plenty of plot twists and cliffhangers, plenty of mystery and all those things that give the story its suspense factor.
Which is your favorite character, in the current story you are working on?
A. My favorite character is a boy named Noel. Maybe because he’s a little bit like me. He loves to read, he’s shy and antisocial, like me. Yet that doesn’t stop him from defending himself and showing people his strengths even if he’s in a wheelchair. He’s a smart character and he’s a true friend to the few he has.
How many stories have you posted on Wattpad (excluding short stories)?
A. Ten.
Can you tell us about your other stories, any two other stories that you are working on?
A. X is a story about secret agents. It’s set in the future and you could classify it as a dystopian novel. If you’re into these things, the mystery/thriller kind of stories, it’s for you.
The Keeper is another fantasy novel of mine, and it’s much darker than Silver Light. It’s complicated, filled with magic, and there the evil is one of a kind.
Do you offer critiques to other users? If you have offered a critique, mention that story?
A. I have but I can’t mention the stories since I’ve critiqued so many.
Do you write for yourself or for the readers?
A. For myself. I don’t care how many reads I have, I will keep on writing because I love writing.
Describe yourself in ten words.
A. Fangirl. Creative. Smart. Stupid. Different. Nerd. Insane. Writer. Reader. Weird.
