*Riah's POV*
I exit my new apartment after putting the last few things in order. The movers were extremely nice, the helped out a lot, they put things where I wanted them, and didn't throw a fit unlike the people down in Florida where I originated from. I grab the keys to my four door Chevy pick-up and walk out the door, locking it behind me.
It's a breezy Autumn day, the leaves have changed to their orange and brown colors, and most have fallen off the trees, making them look bare and beautiful. I'm going to see Caleb, though he has no idea that I'm here, hopefully my surprise visit isn't an issue. Caleb and I have been talking over the phone and internet for almost three years, he's been the only person I could talk to and actually trust not to say anything, he has stuck by me when I've needed someone, he's like the big brother I never had.
I had gotten ahold of Caleb a week before I left, to get his address,I told him I was mailing something to him. It seems to me he's not that far from where I am located. Roxy, aka my gps, tells me to turn down Maple Ave. I turn down the road and keep going until she tells me I've reached my destination.
"You have reached your destination on the left." Thank you Roxy. I pull into the driveway, the house is a decent size, cute and cozy, definitely something I could see Caleb living in.
I turn the engine off and hop out of the truck, slamming the door shut. I fiddle with my fingers as I'm walking up the stone steps. "Here goes nothing." I whisper to myself before pressing the door bell.
*Caleb's POV*
Joey and I are on the sectional sofa playing COD Black ops when the doorbell rings. I pause the game and get up, almost falling over Joey to get the door. I open the door and see Riah, my internet best friend. "Surprise!" She shyly says. "Riah! You're here!" I exclaim, wrapping her in my arms. "I wanted to surprise you, you've been saying that you wanted to see me, and I got tired of my family's drama, so I decided to get away, I don't think I'll be going back to Florida anytime soon." "Please, come in, you must be freezing. Fortunately the coffee just got done, would you like a cup?" I ask. "Sure, I'd love some. Thanks." She replies with a smile. "Oh, Joey this is Riah, Riah, Joey is one of my band members." Joey stands up and shakes Riah's hand. "Nice to meet you Riah, I've heard a lot about you."
"Light and sweet. Black with three sugars. Enjoy." I announce, giving Joey and Riah their mugs of freshly brewed coffee. "Awe, you remembered." "I remember everything. I think that's why I don't have girlfriend." I laugh. "Nah, you don't have a girlfriend because God hasn't found someone that's as quirky as you." Joey laughs after taking a gulp from his mug. "Oh shut it Stamper." I laugh back.
So a few hours go by and Joey's mood completely changed since Riah showed up, they're both talking and laughing together, when Spencer and Chad come barging in through the door. "Honey I'm hoooome!" Chad sings. "Guys, come over here, I want you to meet Riah." "Oh! The infamous Riah has arrived, Caleb must be an extremely happy man." Spencer coos. "Yes, but it looks like Joey is happier than me." "At least he's happy, he's been zoned ever since he found out Donald is moving to Cali." Chad softly smiles. "They seem to have a lot in common." Spencer smiles at the fact that Joey is finally laughing again.

"Riah, what made you want to move to Nashville?" Spencer asks taking interest in her. "I was tired of my parents pushing me to go to business school, and I wanted to finally meet the guy I've called my brother for three years." Ouch, that was an ego burn. "What makes him a brother in your eyes?" Chad speaks up. She laughs. "I never had a brother, first, Caleb was there when I needed someone to vent to, I have told him everything, from what I wanted to do with my life, to complaining to him about my pushy parents, and I know he thinks of me more than a sister, and I appreciate that." She smiles at me."I've always wanted a brother and Caleb has proved himself worthy of being that, it's like I had a virtual shoulder to cry on, and I never had a shoulder to cry on, my parents were always in the office, hardly ever at home, and when they were, they wouldn't ask me how my day went, they would criticize the work I've done around the house. I was basically stuck in a Cinderella movie, but my dad was still alive and I didn't have the evil stepmom and sisters. Caleb taught me so much during these last three years and I love him for that." "Love you too Riah." Riah looks up and her eyes go wide. "What?" I ask looking in the direction her eyes are. "Is that the actual time?" "Yeah, eleven o'clock. Why?" "I was supposed to call my little sister. She's probably worried sick!" "Riah, it's okay, call Emily. Everyone, please be quiet, Emily means the world to her and it's important for Riah to call her."
