Interview with @Alicia17b

What is your username?
A. Alicia17b
When did you join Wattpad? And for how long have you been writing (in general)?
A. I joined about two years ago in August. I've been writing for five years.
What can you tell us about the current story you’re working on? Tell us a little about the plot and the characters in it?
A. Well, it's originally supposed to be inspirational because it's about a woman who is in depression from her fiance that died in war and overtime she befriends a guy who helps her recover. But there is a lot more to it, like how he connects to her demised fiance and such. The main character is mostly a bit of a whiner, but how would you react if your fiance, the love of your life, died in war from some unknown cause (No one told her the reason behind his death)?
Her friends try to help her by putting her in a dating service, in hopes she finds someone and things will lead to another, but it doesn't work out the way they want it to. Lots of drama happens between the friends and the main character, like how they hate how she is reacting and how they hate the new guy in the group (the person the main character befriends to help her recover) and it just leads to a lot of fighting and tension towards the characters. The new guy is actually the love intrest.
Why do you think the readers should read your story (mention the factors which will be appealing to the readers)?
A. I don't think people should read it just because I say it's truly amazing. But right now it's completed and it is the first draft and unedited, but it's in editing as of now. However, it looks better than most un-well written stories you see on here but it isn't the best. It is inspirational, or I hope it comes that way. A Nightmare's Fate is something you don't see very often on here or possibly anywhere else, so I think that's cool.
Which is your favorite character, in the current story you are working on?
A. My favorite character would be Errik, who is the new guy in the picture.
How many stories have you posted on Wattpad (excluding short stories)?
A. Two.
Can you tell us about your other stories, any two other stories that you are working on?
A. I'm not working on any stories at the moment because I choose to revise ANF before I get distracted on another project. However, my other story which I think completely sucks, is called Juliet. It's a Romeo & Juliet modern twist where it's not about them being younger and there is no death scene or anything like the original. My other work, which is a short story and not fiction at all, it's a non-fiction, called The Fatty. It's about me and my struggles about being overweight and how I got this way, with a little bit of ranting in it.
Do you offer critiques to other users? If you have offered a critique, mention that story?
A. I do offer critiques, but only to people who ask and who do complete the payment of critiquing on my story. My last critique was on a story called "Surprise?" But apparently, the writer never finished the payment and deleted my comment... -_- I hate people like that.
Do you write for yourself or for the readers?
A. For myself, of course. I write what I want to read and if you don't like a certain thing in the book, well... screw you!
Describe yourself in ten words.
A. Nice, bitchy, bipolar, gentle, supportive, hypocrite, critical, harsh, honest, and likeable.
