Voices

'Kaylee, wake up! Its time for your medicine!' said a smooth dangerous voice

A women dressed in casual clothing wearing a white rubber glove came into the room with 2 large bottles of medicine on a tray with a small measuring cup. A syringe was placed next to it with a small bottle of liquid. She walked towards the bed, her heels made a loud noise as it hits the floor with her footsteps. She came closer and closer and closer... Suddenly, there was high pitched screams of a child. 

Once again, the footsteps where heard again but this time, it was faster and faster as it hits the floor in a different pace. Repeated piearcing screams filled up my ear. Then there were soft footsteps running, pounding lightly agaist the floorboards. There were more screams, then the slammed shut with a loud bang, the dangerous voice cursed under her breath, followed by the child turning her head around to see the women running towards her. The child ran towards the exit and pushed the door open. There was light and ....

' Samuel!' 

'Samuel!'

I focused back, I saw the tall monster's red face in front of me, a ruler in her hand.

'Samuel, not focusing during class and disrespecting the teacher. Detention after school.' Miss said as she slaps my hand with the stupid plastic ruler. ' That was your 3rd time zooming out in class, if this happens again, you will  be sent to the principle's office.'

I glared at the giant red mark the ruler had made. Seems like that is going to last for a few days.

Yes, that was the 3rd time I had the same scene played in my head again. Yet it seem like it was happening in reality to someone. Everytime that scence plays back in my head, it makes me feel insecure and hollow. This seems real and scary at the same time.

But who does the screaming voice belong to ?
