Friend or Foe

Bendy's POV

It was a cold autumn night, I had just gotten over another Ink Attack and now I was wandering aimlessly through the streets, I needed some kind of spirit lifter after all that I've been through. As I continued walking I ran into someone, backing up I looked up and saw a face I didn't want to see at all, it was my enemy Cuphead, he turned to face me "well, what're you doing out here shorty? Waiting for me to kill you?". I sighed "go ahead, just do it, I'm already in a lot of pain anyways so just put me out of my misery..." he snorted then began to laugh "dude, you really think I'm gonna kill you if you're in pain?! Hah! You must be crazy!" I growled a little "well did you heave something else in mind..?!" I questioned him angrily, he still hadn't stopped laughing, my tail began to swish in annoyance. He finally stopped laughing like a fucking idiot, yet something was a little off about this whole scenario, but I paid no mind to it, sighing after his laugh attack he smirked "well, how about we call this a truce, I'll go get Mugs and you can go get Boris, we'll meet up at the bar, don't be late~" I growled a little "fine..." I couldn't believe that I was agreeing to this, what could possibly go wrong, everything could. I walked home and shook Boris awake "hey bro, we need to go to the bar to meet with Cuphead and Mugman... and no it's not a trap..." I explained as he opened his eyes, it seemed like the moment I said 'Mugman' his ears perked up, "well... ok, I'll go with you, as long as I don't get any alcohol..." I nodded "trust me bro, I won't let you have any" he smiled and nodded. We began to walk to the bar where Cuphead told us to meet him and Mugman, once we got there, I walked in all calmly while Boris was shaking and looking around nervously, I forgot that he's never been to a bar before, I took a seat in a bar stool, "Boris, sit next to me, I'll keep you safe..." he nodded in uncertainty, we then patiently waited for Cuphead and Mugman to walk in, god, they were late. Finally after what felt like hours Cuphead and Mugman walked in, Boris looked in their general direction and waved Mugman over to where we were sitting "hey Mugs! Long time no see!" Mugman chuckled "same to you Boris!" They gave each other a high five and were laughing like little kids on too much sugar. I looked over at Cuphead and he sat down next to me "is there any particular reason why you wanted us to meet you here?" I questioned him with caution in my voice, he smirked "no particular reason, I just thought it was time to just set our differences aside and hang out" I looked at him confused but nodded slowly nonetheless. After a while of us chatting up a storm, I finally stopped and turned to the bartender "hey, 2 glasses of Martini, and make it snappy" he looked at me but nodded "coming up!" I turned back to Cuphead and noticed him staring at me "w- why are you looking at me like that you idiot?!" I questioned him with a blush on my face, he chuckled again "no reason~" god, why must he be so fucking mysterious?! As I was thinking I didn't notice Cuphead staring at my body, I was lost in thought, too lost in fact, I didn't snap back to reality until I felt a hand on my shoulder "hey Bendy" it was Cuphead, I blushed a little "w- what do you want..?" I questioned him nervously, he chuckled "oh not much, the Martini is here anyways, so yeah" I nodded and turned to my drink, there, I began to drink it like there was no tomorrow, I was in fact looking for a reason to get wasted, and what's a better way then to get wasted with a 'friend'. As the drinks kept coming, Cuphead and I were having a drinking contest to see who could get more wasted, as the challenge came to an end it was Cuphead who won the challenge, we were overly intoxicated but I had a lot less common sense than him, I was so drunk it wasn't even funny. Cuphead smirked and chuckled evilly "hah, you're so fucking drunk Bends!" I blushed a little 'why would he call me Bends??' I was going to question him but I was interrupted by Boris "hey Bendy... you're really drunk... let's get home before you do something you might regret..." I was just about to nod in agreement when Cuphead walked over and hooked his arm around my shoulders causing me to blush "aww, c'mon Boris, let's stay for a little bit longer~ plus, nothing odd will happen as long as I'm around~". Boris was going to protest but then I passed out from all of the alcohol I consumed, everything went black.
