Rifle's P.v.o

So last night after the movie had ended, Knockout, Dixie, and I, just decided to hang out for a bit.

"So what do you two like to do for fun?" Knockout asked.

"Well I like to sing, go camping, go fishing, go hunting, go cow tipping, going on trail rides, and going to the river and the lake!" Dixie said.

"Did I miss anything?" Dixie asked.

"Nope you said it all." I said with a deadpan look.

"Well what about you Rifle?" Knockout asked.

"I spend most of my time training for rodeos, other than that nothing much." I said.

"That's it?" Knockout asked.

"Yeah. I mean I do other things but, rodeos are my life." I said proudly.

"She's also really good at it." Dixie said.

"I see." Knockout said.

"What do you like to do Knockout?" Dixie asked.

"Well, I mostly like to street race." he said.

"Well you definitely have the car for it." I said.

"Hay Rifle, didn't you street race once?" Dixie asked.

"Yeah I did, about a year ago." I answered.

"And you never did it again?" Knockout asked.

"No it wasn't really my thing." I responded.

"Well I think it would be fun to race!" Dixie said enthusiastically.

"I agree with Dixie, even though I already race a lot." Knockout said.

I just rolled my eyes.

"I need to get home and get into bed." I told the both of them.

"Whyyy!?!" Dixie wined.

"Yeah why?" Knockout asked.

"Because I have to be up in the morning by five o'clock to bring some cattle up to the corral, and that will take about six hours. And after that there will be pregnancy checking in that heard. And then it should be about three o'clock I will head to the barn to check my tack and make sure it's working and none of the straps have broke and all, when that's done I will get the horse trailer hooked up and start loading my horses. Then I will head out this way and down the road a bit and compete in the rodeo." I said.

Knockout looked at me with astonishment.

"You do all that in one day?" He asked.

"Actually most days we do more." I told him.

"Well, maybe me and my best friend Baxter, will come and see you compete." Knockout said.

"That sounds awesome! By the way, I'll be there too!" Dixie said.

"It's want ever y'all want to do." I told him.

I heard Knockout chuckling when I said that.

"I like your accent, it's very... You." He said.

I looked at him.

"I don't have an accent, you do." I told him.

He just chuckled again.

"I'm serious." I say deadpanned.

"I know you are." He said smirking.

I growled.

"Rifle he doesn't mean anything by it, let's all get along." Dixie said.

"Okay, well I best be getting back. And maybe I'll see you tomorrow." He said.

"Alright, the Rodeo starts at 7 o'clock." I told him.

"Bye Knockout, have a nice night!" Dixie said enthusiastically.

"And to you as well. Rifle, have a good night." Knockout said.

"Goodnight Knockout." I said sweetly.

We all got in our cars/trucks. When I got in I plugged my auxiliary cord in and started blasting The Lacs, witch stands for The Loud Ass Crackers. I was rattling my rims, and shaking the ground.(please tell me someone gets that)

I heard Knockout rev his engine. And in the blink of an eye, I raced out of there and on my way I went. But not before hearing Knockout come roaring out of there.

Poor Dixie, we just left her in the dust.

We all went home and went to bed, thinking about today.
