CHAPTER ONE
It was 1999 a late June morning. Where a baby girl was born. She had beautiful brown hair and big brown eyes. Her name... Was Hazel. Hazel Jonson. Growing up, she was so bright and happy. Her smile would light up the whole room. Literally. Everyone loved her. It was around this time she started school. So when she was 5 years old she started kindergarten. She was so excited about it, she wanted to make friends with everyone in her class. She walked into her classroom and she saw this one boy. She walked up to him. He had blue eyes and brown hair. He smiled, she smiled. It was an instant connection. She asked if she could sit with him at his table, he said "Of course you can! We can be best friends!"
She was so happy. She had just made a new friend. She asked "What's your name? My name is Hazel."
He replied "My name is Carter, and that's a really pretty name... Nice to meet you Hazel."
Hazel: You Too
Carter just stood there smiling and so did Hazel.
