Sorry heeyitsm my comment took a long time to write, but then it got reported twice as soon as I posted it??? Idk, it's weird. Here it is in chapter form:

Sophie took a deep breath, and got up. Darkly, her voice full of ice, she responded, "You've been here a short amount of time, yet you think you know everything."

Biana felt the color drain from her face... oh no... Fitz had definitely struck a chord in Sophie. Her best friend's words made her shiver, and dread hit her in the stomach.

"There will ALWAYS be someone out to kill Cara. There will ALWAYS be someone out to kill every single one of us as long as the Neverseen are in function," continued Sophie, her words getting harder and harder, "I have been fighting since I was eleven years old." She gestured to Dex and Biana forcefully, a few books getting knocked off the shelf as her emotions started to overtake her telekinesis. "All three of us have!" The gesture caused a pain in her wound, and she pressed her hand over it with a quiet grunt. Biana reached over to help her but Sophie brushed her hand away and started towards the door, "So don't you DARE waltz in here and HINT that we're not working hard enough when you don't know how this even works." Tears picked in her eyes but she didn't let herself cry. Once she was in the hall light, she turned back one last time saying, "I've given up my entire life for this cause. LAY. OFF."

She then light leapt away... to her room, because the stairs were hard on her wound. Once she appeared in her room she hobbled to her bed, crying silently, wondering if Fitz had been right after all.

Biana sighed and put her head in her hands, thinking. When she came to a conclusion, she sat up and pulled out her imparter, sending a quick message before standing, taking Dex's hand, "Come on, Grady and Edaline will be back any second, so let's go see the Black Swan's progress on finding the attacker." She said the last part coldly to kind of slap Fitz in the face with the realization that they weren't stupid enough to not have someone go after the guy, and that the good times were usually hard to find in their lives because of the Neverseen, but also that Fitz had just ruined another one. She pulled out her pathfinder, and said, "See you around," before light leaping away with her boyfriend. No 'see you tomorrow' or 'see you soon'. See you around.

She hadn't bothered to consult Dex, but she knew he'd understand that Fitz needed time, Sophie needed time, and that Biana needed him... badly. Sophie and Fitz's words had messed her head up pretty badly, and she felt like she was going to throw up. When they were outside the Black Swan complex, de hugged him tightly, burying her face into his chest, "I'm sorry."
