A Dance : A Rooki one-shot

Prom Night

5:50 PM
The Jamerson House

A black haired, brown-eyed male young adult  was standing outside a two story house. This male was a half human half demon. He had a black tux with a dark red tie on. This was Robert Umbra, a Senior at Laemitor High School. He was waiting for his date and girlfriend, Cooki Jamerson, a half human half angel female. 

The door to the house opened to reveal a tall  brown-haired, dark brown-eyed female angel. This was Cooki's mother  She smiled when she saw Robert standing there in his suit.

"Robert! We weren't expecting you for another ten minutes. Come in, come in."  She grabbed his arm and dragged him into the house. He wasn't worried as these has happened every time he goes to Cooki's home.

"Hello, Robert, it's nice to see you again." Said a male voice. This was Cooki's father, who was human. He had black hair and brown eyes. Cooki's father was a short man, being 5 ft 3 inches while her mother was 6 ft  1 inches.

"Hello, Mr. Jamerson, Mrs. Jamerson." Robert smiled at them. Suddenly, Cooki came downstairs with her long brown hair braided. She was in a dark pastel red dress. Surprise was visible on her face as she wasn't expecting him to be there so soon.

"Robert! What are you doing here so soon?" Asked Cooki, her dark brown eyes filled with curiosity.

" Because so we can spend more time together, my love." Said Robert, making Cooki blush while her parents smile at the  love shown by Robert. Cooki's mother took pictures of the couple.  When she was done, Robert led Cooki to the limo he rented for the night and opened the door for her, before getting inside himself.

7: 30 PM
Laemitor High Gym

Everyone was having a good time at Prom. There was dancing, food and drinks. Everyone was getting along. But it wouldn't be a Prom without a "Royal" couple.

"Thank you everyone for coming to this year's Senior Prom. Now it's that time where one lucky couple becomes this year's Prom King and Queen." Said Jelly, the class president.  The Vice President, Beanz, was standing behind his girlfriend, Jelly.
"Drum roll please," said Jelly, causing the DJ to do the drumroll sound effect,  " This year's Prom King and Queen or rather Queen and Queen is Ashlie Cinco  and Ysa Beau. Congrats you two." Ysa and Ashlie walked on stage to accept the crowns.

Afterwards, a slow song was playing with  couples on the floor dancing.

Robert and Cooki were one of the couples dancing.  Cooki's head was on Robert's chest as they waltzed. Robert was looking down at her, smiling.  He kissed her head, which caused her to look up and smile at him. Robert then bent his head down to capture Cooki's lips with his own.

" I love you with all my heart," Robert said.

" I love you too, Robert," said a blushing Cooki. The couple  spent the rest of the night dancing,  talking and just having a good time.
