No one around here saw death as I did. Maybe because I was a foreigner. They were all down to earth but in some ways, they weren't.  they didn't see death as death, or life as life, they didn't think you had to work hard to get what you want as I did; to them life was a game and death was the price of losing. But to me it was an inevitable fate for everyone. Even those who chose not to believe it died. Even the winners.
I don't know what kind of world they lived in but they chose not to believe in what was bound to happen, they didn't think that they had a time limit, or an age restriction, and I don't know if that is a good thing or not. Maybe they don't live their lives to the fullest because they think that they have plenty of time, but in reality; life is like a ticking time bomb and we don't know when it's going to go off inside us. We don't have forever and I don't think they get that.

Every person, I have met didn't seem to have a care in the world, they all had this bubble around them, like it was protecting them, from what I don't know. They seem oblivious to the horror of what the world had come to, as if they hadn't got the news yet or they just blocked it out. The truth, the world outside this little town in the middle of nowhere, was almost gone, almost no plants, trees or flowers grew; and no animals roamed freely. The world as we had once new it had gone and dirt replaced the poor people that now lay there... dead.

Hey guys...
all chapters will most likely be very short as this one was, and the likely hood is that I'm just going to be one of those people with no reads. But hey, I enjoy writing and I think that's all that matters so...
