IV- Your Fated Prince

"You give me no choice but to be your personal guard."

George became your personal guard even the King and Queen agreed too. It was your consequence for sneaking out secretly. Peter became cold to you and almost the people in the palace became observant in your movements.

It's been a month and nothing changed.

Every move that you do is being observed. It made you feel like a chain is placed around your legs in a cage just like a bird.

"Did you forget your contract , Airi?"

All of them shot you a death glare. You still remember how painful it is. How painful it is to know that freedom is not for you. A simple mistake led you to a despair.

"You will meet your fiancee today."

You frown when you remember what the King and Queen said to you. This is the day where you will meet you fated prince.

The man that you will be for eternity. Will a love bloom between the pauper and prince?

George look at {Y/N} with a regret. "If I can only change your fate." He mumbled.

Peter appeared beside him, "No one can change the Pauper's fate. We are not powerful enough Ashworth." He mumbled back not wanting her to hear their conversation. George notice the change of behavior of Peter since {Y/N} sneaked out.

"It's not the reason George." They look at each other. "I'll be the one who will look after her for now. The knights need you." Peter said, walking towards {Y/N}.

"Let's go." You look at Peter who appeared beside you. "For my behavior this past week, I'm sorry. I'm not mad, okay? I just have a personal matters" He smiled.

You nodded, "I'm sorry too." You manage to give him a small smile.

Peter escorted you to the King and Queen's throne since your fiancee already arrived. You took a glance of him, his forehead is sweating.

This is the first time that he showed a nervous expression.

"Here we are. Act like a fine lady, kay?" He smiled and you nodded.

You felt a familiar scared feeling inside your chest as you walk towards the King and Queen. A man was facing them so you can't see his face.

"Oh Airi is here." The Queen smiled and showed you an look to come over near them.

You smiled at them as you walk near them. The Prince turn around to see you. His expression is blank and his eyes were cold as he stares at you.

You gulped in your imagination as you stare at him. His eyes is familiar. Despite of that he has a good looking features making you to avert your stare at him.

"Meet your fiancee, Prince Henry Einfolk ." You smiled at him a give him a greeting as a Princess. Deep inside you are bewildered.

Isn't it Prince Edward?

You wanted to ask about him but it will sound rude to Prince Henry.It's been a long time since Peter discussed about the Prince's details. You're just smart to remember it.

"Would you please escort your fiancee outside, Airi?" The king smiled at you. You nodded. "Yes father."

The prince offered his arm to her ad she wrapped her other arm into his. "It would be a pleasure. There is no need to since I already went here, Your Highness." He said calmly making {Y/N} fascinated. Well it's your first time to see a REAL PRINCE.

"Oh is that so?" The Queen grinned. "Ot would be lovely if you get to know each other." The king nod in his wife's idea making you blush.

"See you around, Mother and Father." You give them a smile before you go away with the Prince.

None of you two speak as both of you walk into your favorite place the Castle's garden. You wanted to hide yourself in this uncomfortable scene.

"How to start a conversation?!" You thought. You can imagine peter inside your head saying to act normally.

But you normal act is like a child.

"Isn't these roses are beautiful?" You manage not to tremble in embarrassement as you focus your attention to the crimson roses.

Henry lean his face into her ear, "Focus your attention to your fiancee." His voice is husky and attracting making your cheeks hot.

"S-should we take a sit and talk?" You suggested and lead him to the garden's royal bench. You remove your arm into him after you force him to sit down.

"You act like you don't know me, Airi." His sad voice made you feel guilty.

I'm not Airi

"I-i am sorry Prince. I suffered from a memory loss when an accident happen." You bit your lip.

Airi is Dead

"Look at me." You turned beside to see Henry's face very close to you that your lips could instantly meet his.

"I accept everything, {Y/N}," Unable to move in what he said. He gently pressed his soft lips into yours.
