"Sure, why not?" Adam replied.
"Alrighty, follow me."

Douglas picked up speed and they were in the lobby. He turned right, and they exited out of the double doors. The path they walked on led to a good sized city, with Douglas' dungeons and his castle. They kept on the path, and they soon saw the crowded market that they had to pass through. Sounds came from all over the place; some were happy, some weren't. Endermen and Ender of all sorts noticed the three walking down the main road and started shoving people and other Enders out of the way to make room. Some cursed in Enderman tongue of complaint.

"Thank you, kind sirs," Douglas said to them. The market was really quiet now; only a few murmurs were still being said. "Well, you guys can carry on. We're just strolling through here. Nothing to worry about."

His words eased the silence into chatter. Enders and people continued whatever they were doing, and only a few noticed the three. Adam adjusted the unconscious dragon and caught up with Douglas.

"Now I can see why prices are going up," Adam said, trying to joke.
"Ha, yeah."
"How much did everything cost?"
"You don't need to worry about it."
"I'm just curious."

Douglas inhaled. "Well, the ice cream was about 3 Endercoins, which is about $2.50 for you. The wing and leg stick brace things were about 10 Endercoins each, and the pillow was about 4. It's not much, but they eventually will get higher."

"Ah." was all Adam said. They walked in silence for a few seconds, looking around at the scenery before Adam asked another question. "What are Endercoins made of?"

"Uhhhhh, I believe they are made of a rare End metal called... Something, I forgot. It's stronger than iron, but it is basically iron, it's found in the End and it has a pink-purple tint."

"Nice. I think I've seen some in the ground as we went by."
"Where?"
"Back there."
"Yeah, back there, but where?"
"Here, follow me."

Adam turned around, shifting Allison again in the process, and started to walk back the way they came. Douglas followed, obviously interested. Adam stopped in front of a bush.

"Uh, that's not Whatchamacallit."
"Look under it. I see something reflecting."
"Ah," Douglas said. He crouched down, and brushed the bush leaves out of the way. The leaves hid a big stash of neatly cut Whatchamacallits, obviously hidden for some reason. "Ooh, I didn't know you could still find it in caves."

"I didn't even know it existed," Adam said.
"What should we do about it?"
"I don't know."
"Hm. I'll pick it up and put it in a bag, then I'll decide later."
"Isn't that stealing?"
"I don't know who it belongs to, and I didn't get caught."

Douglas picked up the metal and luckily had a small plastic bag to put it in. He made sure he picked all of it up, then he closed the bag. He let go of the leaves and stood back up.

"I guess we should go to where we originally planned to go."
"Yeah, almost forgot about that."

They walked back onto the street and continued on their way to the dungeons. They didn't find any more Whatchamacallits before they got there, but oh well.

"Ok, here it is." Douglas said. He walked in the door, and motioned for Adam to come in. He stepped up and went through the door. There was a security system waiting for him.

"Oh," Adam said.

"They have to take weapons and anything that could help a prisoner get out, sorry. I didn't make the rules." Douglas said.
"Can't you change them?" Adam half joked half asked.
"I could. But nahhhhh."
"Alrighty then." Adam carefully put Allison in Douglas' arms, and took his rapier out of its sheath. The security guards backed up in alarm, and he just rolled his eyes. He put the weapon back in its leather sheath, and unbuckled it from the belt it was connected to. He put it on the table to his left, and also took off his watch and put it there.

"I don't think I have anything else to worry about." Adam said after he put down his watch.
"Pretty sure you don't need to take off your watch." Douglas said.
"It's a special watch."
"What do you mean by 'special'?"
"It lets me turn into things that I've killed."
"Oh. That's an interesting watch."
"Yep."

The two security guards checked them for any weapons and metal. Once they were fine, the security guards picked up the rapier and watch, and placed them in a basket. They then put the basket in a locker, and locked it.

"You'll be able to get your things back once you are done, sir." One guard said to Adam.
"Okay, thanks." He replied.

Douglas shuffled Allison back into Adam's arms and they walked down a hallway Adam remembered. It was the same hallway they went through when they first got here and were on their way to the hospital.

Douglas found the hallway Hero, Notch, and Steve's cell was in. He turned to the left, and three cells down to the right, was their cell. Douglas casually walked down to their cell, where they were playing a very boring game of Uno.

"Well lookie here," Douglas said.
"You son of a gun," Hero replied. He turned his gaze a little, and saw the two others. "Ah, I see you brought them."

"Mhm. Thought they'd like to visit."

The tension was growing, and you could already tell the two wanted to rip each other's throat out. Oof.

"Okay, so uh, how's life?" Adam asked the three in the cell.
"Good, except that now we've been counting this is our 137th game of Uno, excluding the ones we didn't count." Notch replied.

"Oh," Adam said. Allison shifted in his arms a little. A short moment after that, Hero widened his eyes a little, then slightly nodded.

"What are you doing?" Douglas questioned.

"Just... Looking at Allison's scales. Looks like she's having a dream." Hero replied. Her scales were mostly black, with colors that danced and fluttered on them in a lower opacity. With that you could tell she was sleeping, or was asleep.

But what none of them saw or realized, was that Allison had opened her right eye, and she quickly communicated with her dad, while keeping the scale colors dancing at the same time to pretend she was asleep.

What she "said" was...

I'm awake.

I'll be back soon.

Just you wait...
