Story of SUHAYLA and FAROOQ

CHAPTER 3

Narrated Abu Huraira:

Allah 's Apostle said, "Treat women nicely, for a women is created from a rib, and the most curved portion of the rib is its upper portion, so, if you should try to straighten it, it will break, but if you leave it as it is, it will remain crooked. So treat women nicely."

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو كُرَيْبٍ، وَمُوسَى بْنُ حِزَامٍ، قَالاَ حَدَّثَنَا حُسَيْنُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ، عَنْ زَائِدَةَ، عَنْ مَيْسَرَةَ الأَشْجَعِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي حَازِمٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ـ رضى الله عنه ـ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم ‏ "‏ اسْتَوْصُوا بِالنِّسَاءِ، فَإِنَّ الْمَرْأَةَ خُلِقَتْ مِنْ ضِلَعٍ، وَإِنَّ أَعْوَجَ شَىْءٍ فِي الضِّلَعِ أَعْلاَهُ، فَإِنْ ذَهَبْتَ تُقِيمُهُ كَسَرْتَهُ، وَإِنْ تَرَكْتَهُ لَمْ يَزَلْ أَعْوَجَ، فَاسْتَوْصُوا بِالنِّسَاءِ ‏"‏‏.‏

People of madina city starts to gather around . Among them one man tries to stop farooq . But farooq was furious. The man shouts at farooq saying " Hey brother,leave him ,its his house " .
Farooq shouts," I AM FAROOQ, THIS IS MY HOUSE "

Inside, the proprietor of the home, a mature lady overheard the feuding outside.  Her heart skipped a beat.  She wondered “Could it be? No it can’t be, it just can’t.”

She put on her hijab and sprinted outside shouting “This is my husband Farooq! Leave him alone!  He’s been away on jihad for thirty years, only now has he returned.”

By litsening to her people of madina began to weep .
"Farooq and suhayla embraced in love"
Now,they are together,and they are telling stories to each other . They run inside , they're joking , they're crying , everything is coming out .

Suhayla asks, " oh farooq, i am so much older than when you left me, i was young,beautiful ,i don't look like that anymore."

And farooq says, " To me suhayla, you are the most beautiful woman in the world."

Because he loves her peity, even after thirty years he's madly in love with her .

Finally farooq starts to get to his senses and he asks " oh suhayla ,there was a treasure chest i left , two million pounds in it ,what did you do with that money??

Suhayla says , " farooq, let me ask you a question"

S - " Did you go to the masjid"( she knows he did)

F - " yes,i did"

S -   "Did you see anything there"

F  -  "yes i saw amazing scholars , the knowledge of the deen , the way it has been spread "

S -     " Did you see anyone in particular"

F  -    " yes, one really stood out "

S  -   "what would you give to be that man?"

  F  -  "  I'll give everything to be that knowledgeable "

  S  -  " Would you give   30,000 dinars for it ?"

  F  -  " yes ,i would"

  S   - "What if that was your son ??"

F  -    " even more "

And she says , "that's you son , ABDUR RAHMAN "

Farooq goes mad by litsening to her .
He comes out of the house screaming 

" SHIEK ABDUR RAHMAN IS MY SON"

" SHIEK ABDUR RAHMAN IS MY SON"

" SHIEK ABDUR RAHMAN IS MY SON"

" SHIEK ABDUR RAHMAN IS MY SON:"

" I AM FAROOQ , HE IS MY SON"

" I AM FAROOQ , FATHER OF ABDUR RAHMAN"

"HE IS MY SON"

" HE IS MY SON"

" HE IS MY SON"

He is dancing on the roads screaming his son's name . He's all excited .

While Farooq had been away, Suhayla had spent his fortune on providing their son with the best education available.    On seeing each other for a second time, farooq realised the man he had been feuding with earlier had been his son, the righteous scholar.

Their neighbours celebrated with them, it became a memorable day for those in Madinah.  One of those who wept tears of joy in the crowd was the man we famously know as Imam Malik, the student of Sheikh Abdurrahman, the son of Suhayla and Farooq.
