Husband and wife Jeremy and Amya Hudson had been wishing for a child since the day the witch and wizard got married. A pureblood child that would grow up with the wonders of magic around them in a happy world. But no matter what they did, a child would not be bestowed upon them. Losing hope, they searched for an orphan to adopt, but they could never find one of magic. They would hate to raise a squib and wanted a child that had the magic crossing in their veins.

But no such luck.

Until one fateful day.

October 31st, 1981.

Lord Voldemort was defeated. By a baby named Harry Potter. Every wizard rejoiced in the good news. Parties and ceremonies were held left and right, wizards roamed the streets of muggles, saying that today was a day to be happy, for the dark lord was defeated. On this very day, Jeremy and Amya Hudson were out partying with Jeremy's distant cousins, Weasleys. Jeremy had become more profitable than his distant cousins and helped them out a lot. But he could tell that they were happy with their life. And now was surely a time to be happy.

But some had different plans in mind. Late past midnight, a shadow appeared in the mist of 45th and 3/5 lane in London. In the dark, it coalesced into the form of a tall man dapped in black robes. A slender pale face with sharp cheekbones and long dark hair with piercing blue eyes appeared. He looked as if he was in deep pain. Blood dripped from his side and his face was bruised. But his eyes were focused on what lay in his arms.

A small child, no more than a few months old lay awake in his arms. Bright wavy orange hair with beautiful dark brown eyes looked back up at him. The child laughed slightly as it reached it's arm up towards the man's face. The dark man hushed the child.

"Quite now my dear, everything will be fine. I promise." He said as the lights of the street went out with a quick flicker. He soon began to walk forward, a trail of dark mist followed behind him. The man could feel his eyes become droopy, but he made himself remain stable for the child. His breathing was shaky as he pulled up to a large house that was cloaked in darkness. Its owners were gone for the night, like everyone else. The man looked back down to the orange haired child wrapped in blankets in his arms. She was so precious and pure. She didn't deserve this fate.

A single tear slipped from the man's eyes as the child looked up at him with a worried face. The man quickly whipped away his tear. "Do not fear little one. You'll be okay." He said, but the child's worried face did not disperse. He let out a deep sigh. "I really wish I could have watched over you more in this physical form child. But it seems like fate has different plans for the both of us." He stated sitting down on the steps of the house's front porch and lowering his head down to the child.

"We'll both be fine, I promise child." He commented as he placed the child down, neatly wrapped in blankets next to the door. His pain was getting greater, he couldn't stay like this for much longer. The tiny child looked as if it was about to cry. The man smiled, "I'm not going away child. Well, not for long." He stated as he put a necklace around the child's neck. It was a necklace with a silver chain, and at the end was a diamond-shaped Red Berly. The baby smiled looking up to his blue shining eyes.

The man laughed slightly, admiring the child's cuteness, but his smile soon faded, as he remembered why he was really here. "I must go now little one." He said as the child stopped smiling. "But do not be afraid." He then placed a small blank diary next to the child, and a note buried under the blankets. "I'll always be here with you."

As he said that the man pulled out his wand of Ivory, and placed it over the young child's heart. "I'll promise I'll always be with you, Talitha Lamaro." He said as he pointed the tip of the wand against her heart. "Pactrallacel!" The man shouted as a swirl of blue light swivelled around his wand. Cracks of blue started to appear on his face as the child's eyes started to fill with tears. The man looked down to the child with a slight smile on his face.
