After so long in darkness,the light stabbed his eyes; he looked away, covering his face with both hands. He heard noises above -voices- and fear squealed his chest.
"Look at that shank"
"How old is he?"
"Looks like a klunk in that t-shirt"
"You're the klunk, shuck face
Everything and everyone seemed like a blur to Thomas
"Wh-Where am I?" He asked shyly with a quiet voice
Suddenly a tall, blond boy walked towards him
"Names Newt greenie. Welcome to the glade"
The boy said gently with a soft smile. It was the sweetest smile Thomas had ever seen, that he could remember anyway
'He's kinda cute' Thomas said in his mind, but immediately shook off the thought
Newt stared at Thomas, admiring his perfect features
'I like him, he seems sweet' the blond boy thought as he offered a hand to pull Thomas out of the box.
Thomas grabbed Newt's hand. They interlocked perfectly. Their eyes met
That was the moment their souls combined...
