4:58 am, I'm here again, in my old, almost forgotten bedroom, laying on disney printed quilt on my bed. Which is awkward. Why the hell didn't my mom changed it? I guess she never thought I will come back after that... thing.
But here I am, thinking about when I was still that happy, innocent and nice girl, who thought that people are too nice to hurt someone.
And that same girl did got hurt.
Two years passed since then. Since I left New York and moved to London.
Is two years enough to forget about something? I guess not, because I'm here again, at the exact same spot, doing the exact same thing I did two years ago. Remembering.
I am remembering him, moments that we spent together, his little, but to me, very meaningful gifts, words, that would make me feel butterflies in my stomach, his beaut...
"Rebecca, honey..." I hear my mom's voice, voice that broke me from my thoughts.
I didn't even relize that is 7 am. I'm kinda happy that she came, otherwise, I would end up crying again.
Who am I kidding, i wouldn't do that. But I would still think about non important things.
"What mom?" I replied a little bit too harsh.
"Nothing, I just wanted to check if you are up. You know, I've missed you, and you are here only for one month so I want to spend time with you. Come on, I made you your favorite breakfast."
"Okay." I simply replied, maybe a bit harsh again.
She gives me a warm smile and leaves the room. I can hear her heels clapping against the wooden floor as she rushes to the kitchen.
What is it whit this woman anyway? She always stays calm even tho I am somethimes, well most of the time mean to her, and everyone else I guess.
I wasn't always like this.
I took my toilet bag and rushed to the bathroom to take a shower before I head to the kitchen. I need to be prepared for my mom attacking me with one hundred questions.
