Haters?

Haters. How do you define a hater? You could use the Google definition: "a person who greatly dislikes a specified person or thing". But, I feel like it's deeper than that. Is it possible that there's something that makes them hate? Whatever the reason, I feel like it's not right that they can do whatever they do to hurt a person. I, myself, have been bullied. Both online and in real life. And let me tell, it's not cool, fun, or makes you popular in anyway.

You feel like you're stuck in mud, or a black abyss. Once you get in, there's no way out.

Let's let hater be haters. They probably have their reasons, but that doesn't mean we have to listen to them! DON'T SECOND GUESS YOURSELF! You're perfect just the way you are, even if you don't see it.

Of course, no human out there is exactly 100% perfect. We're different. We make mistakes. Sometimes we even give up. But that's not what defines us. What defines us is what we do about it. Do we walk on with our eyes trained on the ground for the rest of our lives, or do we keep our heads up high? That's up to us, and no one else.

Those haters probably don't know a thing about the actual you. Or they do, and they want to be like you. Kill those haters with kindness. You may not think that they deserve it, but they do. Everyone does! You're not the only one out there that is feeling the way you do.

I don't exactly know how you're feeling. Everyone's situation is different. Some bullies are worse than other, and some bullies take breaks before coming back to harass you more. But who really cares what they think? They may seem popular online or in real life, but they most likely have something going on at home that makes them feel that way. Of course, you should report the bully when they're bullying, but maybe you should ask them if they're okay too.

There's no real way to stop bullies from bullying. At least, not all at once. But you can try. Get them alone and confront them! If you're too scared to do that, like how I was, get someone else to do it.

Let me tell you a story.

One day, I was walking through the halls of my old school. My school had tons of bullies at it, and that was one of the main reasons I was bullied, too. There was an anorexic girl getting bullied. I paused for a moment, not sure what I should do. Should I help, or keep walking?

I ended up walking straight to my class and not telling anyone. The next day, the same girl went missing. Three days later, she was announced dead. By suicide. I have regretted walking away ever since. If I had stopped and helped, she would still be alive.

What YOU do, could save a life.
