A/N-I'm sorry I haven't uploaded in so long, I just, ugh, it's a LONG story but, I'm thinking of writing a new book on the last day of school and ends on the first. It may even be a series called 'The Notes Of J'. It's kind of a note taking journal/biography of it. Just to let you know, the 1st book will be called 'Summer Days, Notes Of J'. Oh well, let's get back to the book. P.S. I'm going to make this a good lengthy chapter! Ya! Woohoo!

"AHH! GET OFF ME!" I screamed.
Right when I was about to swing, I stopped as I saw who grabbed my arm. It was Ronald, (Ron is what we call him) the town hunk. He acts like a hero in public but, he has it out for me and a few others.
"Wait, what are you doing here!?" I ask angrily.
"Well, little Ant needs some help saving his girlfriend plus, I can't let you die especially when there's a small little breach and I'm right next door. One, it won't be good for my cred if you get my flow and Two, I may hate you but I need you to stay alive. Got that twerp. Oh and P.S., There is a crowd looking through the windows to scared to come in and help so ya, you get it. Now get your ass up and get up those stairs as I get the zoms commin' down the hall way." Says Ron.
"HE'S NOT MY BOYFRIEND!" Screams Lexi. "No offense Anthony, sorry."
"It's fine." I say. "And by the way Ronny, I can fend for myself and Lexi as you could see." I reply.
"Listen up you scrawny little twerp, don't EVER call me Ronny and you think you can fend off the horde without a real weapon like my battle axe. That fire extinguisher won't ever hold against a horde. And just to let you know Ant, that extinguisher might help a little but, those zoms would snap you like a twig."
"I don't care if you have a battle axe, I can save Lexi and myself got that!?" I yell.
"Whatever I'm gonna act as the hero wether you like it or not!" Says Ron.
I can't hold it in any more. I feel the anger bubbling up inside me. I can literally feel the heat radiating off my dark red face. I don't even think about what I do next. I swing the extinguisher and it connects with his jaw with a loud 'CRACK' as he spits a few teeth and a little blood. He smiles at me a bloody grin with his crooked yellow teeth.
"Ohh your gonna regret that punk!" Ron yells.
I don't care at all what he says though, I hate his guts. He could go die in a hole full of zoms for all that matters. I see an opening for he comes at me but off balance due to the knock. I dodge to the side and kick him. He falls to the ground and I help Lexi up.
"We can't leave him, he'll die and turn!" Lexi exclaims.
"Fine, i'll lock him in the janitors closet." I say.
We head back down and try to lift him. I kick him. Whys he so damn heavy? I hear him grunt. We roll him into the closet and lock it than slide the keys under the door. We ran towards the stairs but were in true horror. The horde beat us to the stairs and are lumping our way. I would say we're pretty lucky their so slow. We might have been turned fast! We can't escape though, there's no other exit! How will we make it out of here alive?! Just then, an idea pops into Lexi's head.
"THE AXE!" She yells.
"What?!" I say.
"THE AXE! GRAB THE AXE!"
I can't believe I forgot about the axe! I rush to it and fumble with it as I get ready to strike the first threat that gets within my safety zone. We slowly approach the stairs, axe in hand, ready for anything. The first zombie lurches forward and I swing, chopping the top part of his clean off! A small bit of blood splattered on Lexi and I. We stayed quiet to not attract any more that might be in the school. They lunged, we sliced, they lunged, we sliced. We were soaked as there were 4 zoms laid dead right before us.
"Wow..." Was all Lexi could spit out.
"Umm, uh, yeah... I got a little crazy there. Oh, and uh, sorry about the blood." I say.
"It's okay. I think it'll wash out."
We hurry up the next few flights of stairs. We get to the escape area that leads to the roof. We pull on the rope but, it's locked.
"HEY! CAN ANYONE HEAR US? PLEASE UNLOCK THE ROOF ESCAPE PLEASE!" Yells Lexi.
"Lexi? Is that you?" Asks a muffled voice.
"WHO ELSE?"
We hear a loud 'POP' and the door shifts a little. We pull on the rope but it won't budge.
"Something's wrong, BREN IT'S BUDGED! PUSH!" Yells Lexi.
"I'm trying!" Says Bren's muffled voice.
We suddenly hear hear a group of loud moans and see a HUGE heard of zoms.
"BREN, HURRY! THERE COMING! PLEASE!" Screams Lexi.
"I'm trying!" Yells Bren's muffled voice.
I grab the axe, ready, as they try to get the vault door open. The zoms know were hear and are starting to get faster. There's to much to fend off!
