Corinna got out of her car followed by Nancy and Barb, her best friends. They were all talking about how great junior year was going to be and how desperately Corinna wanted a boyfriend. As if on cue, a blaring engine captured the girls attention. Corinna looked at the car and out came the driver. Corinna was in awe of the driver. Tall, handsome, blue eyes, denim jacket, cigarette in hand. He was your typical bad boy. Corinna was outgoing, but had never ever talked to the cool kids.
"Guys, I think i'm in love." said Corinna, awestruck. Nancy looked at Corinna in disgust
"That guy. You could do so much better." Corinna rolled her eyes at Nancy. Corinna knew to be very careful with those types of guys.
She didn't want to seem easy, but she didn't want to seem like - god-forbid - a prude. She had to find the perfect balance. Once inside the school, Corinna was swallowed by the sea middle and high schoolers. Someone hit her from behind. She turned and locked eyes with the mystery bad boy. She smiled at him, not to eager, not to prudish just right. He gave her an easy smile back and kept going. Corinna went along her day forgetting about mystery boy. After school, Corinna hung out with her friends and then realized she had to go pick up her brother Will from the arcade.
"I'll be back guys" she said to her friends. They said their goodbyes and she was on her way. At the arcade, Corinna heard the familiar sound of an engine. She looked outside and saw a young, ginger girl get into bad boy's car. She was now even more intrigued. ON the way home she asked her brother Will "Hey, do you know the new girl, she's a ginger.."
"Oh, you mean Max?"
"Yeah, Max, do you like her?"
"Yeah, she's alright. Why?"
"No reason." - Corinna replied
