Nikko's Vision

Nikko stood before pain, summoned back to the Leaf just in time to intercept the Animal Path. "So you've finally unlocked the Rinnegan," Pain said.

Nikko narrowed his eyes. "Right here, right now, you die, Sensei." He flicked his wrist and created a black rod, favoring his new weapon over Rima's katana. Why hasn't Tsunade sent word to Fukasaku. We need Naruto here too.

The young Otsutsuki rushed forward. He blocked a black rod from Pain and held a palm toward Animal Pain. "Let's test it out," he said, "Universal Pull!"

Animal Pain was forced toward Nikko. The younger Rinnegan wielder wasted no time in shoving the black rod into Animal Pain. He ripped the rod out and shoved the corpse to the ground.

"One down, five to go," he said.

"Not quite," Animal Pain said.

Nikko whirled around and jumped over Pain's bird. He threw himself toward Animal Pain and held a palm toward her. "Almighty Push!" Nikko sensed a second Pain's chakra behind him.

The boy wasn't fast enough to turn around earned a black rod to the side. Three, he thought, kicking the Naraka Path of Pain in the gut. Four. He swung a black rod at Animal Pain. Five. "Almighty Push!"

The two Pains were pushed away. Nikko, now panting, held a black rod in each hand. He threw himself toward Naraka Pain. This is the one that resurrects the others. If I kill this one, they can't come back. He looked to Animal Pain for a moment. That one's new and she has the same summonings as the corpse Jiraiya brought. So there is no set Six of them.

Nikko returned his eyes to Naraka Pain. "Die!" He threw the black rod like a spear.

Naraka used Ebisu as a shield. He discarded the now dead shinobi and rushed Nikko.

Nikko sidestepped Pain's black rod and stabbed at Naraka with his own. Naraka caught the rod and snapped it in half. He then kicked Nikko in the chest, sending the boy right into Animal Pain's punch.

The boy coughed up blood and fell to the ground. He pushed rolled aside just in time to dodge a black rod and jumped up.

The boy rose to his feet and pulled a marked kunai from his pack of tools. Time to see what these eyes' unique ability is. He opened his eyes. "Hachiman!" Animal Pain was enveloped in black chakra everywhere but her hand, which stuck out as she reached for safety. The then imploded, leaving nothing to remain of Animal Pain but her hand.

Panting from exhaustion at the use of his last jutsu, Nikko threw himself forward. He threw his kunai at Naraka Pain and teleported to it. He formed an Elemental Fury and drove it toward Naraka Pain.

Preta Pain jumped into the path of the jutsu and absorbed the jutsu. Nikko grit his teeth and jumped back. I knew I should've gone Sage Mode before approaching the village, he thought.

The hand will be enough to resurrect her later, Naraka Pain thought, but for now. . . He turned to Nikko. "You truly are strong, Nikko," he said, "Why not join the Akatsuki and seek peace with me? We could do great things together."

Nikko laughed. "Peace? You call this peace?"

"This is merely the means to an end," Naraka said, "We need to do this in order to achieve my vision of peace."

"Your vision?" Nikko asked, "and what, pray tell, is that?"

"I will use the power of the sealed tailed beasts to create forbidden jutsu," Naraka said, "Jutsu so powerful that just a single one of them could destroy an entire nation. Then, I will give each of the warring nations a jutsu. Millions of people will die instantly. The world will know pain. Then, all nations will be deterred from war for fear of he pain these jutsu could cause."

"Ruling the world through Pain isn't the way to peace," Nikko said.

"And what would you do?" Naraka asked.

"I would unite everyone under a single banner," Nikko said, "A single Kage to rule every village."

"And would you be this Kage?"

Nikko shook his head. "Too much responsibility. I'd rather have someone like Naruto do it."

"On the topic of Naruto, where is he?" Naraka asked.

Nikko smirked. "Like I'd tell you," he said, "Though, if you had your Human Pain here, you could pry the information from my cold, dead hands."

Without wasting another second, Nikko threw himself forward. He threw his kunai at Preta Pain and teleported to it. He caught the blade and sliced at the Pain.

Naraka took a step back as Deva entered the fray. "Almighty Push," Deva said.

Nikko was thrown back, but caught himself and landed on his feet.

"My you're a stubborn one," Deva said.

"You should know that, Nagato-sensei," Nikko said with a smile.

The real Nagato's eyes widened. "Where did you hear that name?"

"Fukasaku said that's what Jiraiya kept calling you," Nikko said, "Thus, I assume it's your name. So, which one is the real Nagato?"

Deva Pain kept silent.

"Oh, I see," Nikko said, "It's none of you. These black rods of ours are chakra receivers, so you're using them to control corpses."

"So you've figured it out," Deva said, "It's a shame. I can't let you live anymore." He perked his head up. "I see. It seems Naruto Uzumaki is not here." He began to float away. "Feel pain. Think about pain. Know pain."

He held his arms out to either side of him. "Almighty Push!"
