Chapter 14 - Feelings

"You have feelings for me?" I say with an eye brow raised and he smiles shyly at me making a smirk arise on my face.
"So what if I do" he shrugs coming to sit next to me on his sofa.
"Then it means you feel the same way I do" I smirk and his eyes meet mine a bugger smile appearing on his face.
"You have feelings for me?" He raises an eyebrow just like I done earlier.
"More then you know" I say moving closer to him.
"Really?" He says and I swore his eyebrow moved higher.
"Really" I smile and I place my lips against his, he immediately placed his hands on my waist and moves his lips hard against mine. I squeeze my eyes shut when his tongue brushes against my split lip and his hand falls against my bruised side. I hoped that Elijah didn't notice but he did and he pulls away and I let out a groan of annoyance.
"You're too fragile" Elijah says
"I think I have a cracked rib" I say rubbing my chest slightly.
"I didn't touch your ribs?" He says
"No you touched this" I say lifting my shirt up to show him the beautifully formed bruise on my side.
"Shit sorry" he says
"It's a bruise, it will heal" I say moving so I was lying across his sofa. My legs falling comfortably on Elijah's lap. Then the doorbell rings.
"Do you have any other family members I should know about?" Elijah jokes and I laugh
"No" I say and he answers the door. "Ok pizza is finally here" he says closing the front door and heading into the kitchen. I stand up and join him.
"I still prefer Chinese" I say when we finish eating and Elijah rolls his eyes.
"You're so cute" he says and I scrunch my nose up making him giggle. I skip down the hall and into Elijah's room. I could heard Elijah stand up to follow me. I remove my shirt and sweatpants and wait for him to come in. Elijah doesn't knock he just walks in, when he saw me he turns around quickly
"Sorry I didn't realise you were.." He pause to think of what to say. I walk over to him and turn him around and placing my lips against his. "You're such a tease" he says shaking his head. I wrap my hands around his neck and he lifts me up. My legs immediately wrap around his waist and he pushes me up against the wall. I run my fingers through his hair and he smiles into my lips.
"You know what I think" I say pulling my lips away from his.
"What do you think?" He asks raising an eyebrow
"I think I shouldn't be stood in your room half naked alone" I smirk and he laughs and shakes his head.
"I think that you are right" he says placing me back on the floor. I move over to his bed and jump under the covers. He removes his shirt and his trousers, his perfect body standing in front of me. He hoovers next to the bed staring in my eyes. I grab the top of his boxers and pull him towards me. He climbs under the covers with me and joins our lips together again.
"If I wasn't injured right now" I say smirking and Elijah chuckles.
"Get some sleep" Elijah whispers in my ear.
"Only if you sleep next to me" I say
"Definitely" He says and I chuckle. I cuddle in close to his chest, his arm wraps around me and I close my eyes to sleep.

~Elijah's point of view~
It was a Sunday morning. I open my eyes and look down at Jade. She had moved over to the other side of the bed. I remember her mumbling that she was hot in the middle of the night. I move over and wrap my arms around her pulling her towards me so she was lying next to me again. She was still asleep but a small smile appeared on her face and she moved her head close to my bare chest. I was lying on my back and jade was lying against my chest. There was a huge bruise on her back which I'm pretty sure she didn't realise was there. I trace my fingers around her bruise then stop because I didn't want to wake her
"No don't stop that feels nice" she whispers into my chest. I chuckle and move my hand back to her back.
"You have a bruise on your back" I tell her
"I have bruises everywhere" she mumbles. Her words vibrating against my chest.
"What do you want to do today?" I ask her
"Can we stay in bed all day?" She asks raising her head to look at me.
"You want to sleep all day?" I chuckle
"No I just want to stay here and not have to move or worry about work or being The Raven" she says
"You can't stay in bed all day" I say
"Watch me" She says
"How about I take you out?" I ask and she looks at me intrigued
"Where?" She asks
"It's a surprise." I say smirking. While jade was sleeping last night I got out my laptop and started looking at homes. I found a really nice one, it was on the outskirts of Manhattan. It was a little isolated but it had a huge garden and the exterior looked perfect. I made arrangements to see the house today and I'm sure jade will appreciate and love it.
"I'm not a massive fan of surprises" she says scrunching up her nose
"You'll like this one. Trust me" I say and I kiss the tip of her nose and crawl out of bed. However jade wraps her arms around my waist and holds on tight.
"Stay just a little longer" she says. I laugh and get back into bed. I wrap my arms around her and kiss her lips. She then wraps her legs around my waist and her arms go around my neck. She bites my bottom lip and tugs at my hair slightly. I wrap my arms around her placing them on her back. I lift her up and carry her out to the kitchen. She was giggling as I run my hands softly up and down her sides.
"Stop that tickles" she says grabbing my hands as I place her on top of my kitchen counter.
"Like I said before you're so cute" I smirk. I kiss her once more before I heard back into my room, I pull on a pair of sweatpants and grab a shirt for jade.
"Thanks" She says throwing on my shirt.
