Dragons Race To The Edge: Battle For the Edge

Ch.1: Berk

3rd Person P.O.V.

It was a quiet and peaceful morning on the island of Berk, well that is until the Terrible Terrors started singing, which is literally just them screeching. 18 year old Hiccup Horrendous Haddock III was sleeping soundly until the Terrible Terrors started singing, he woke up, covering his ears to block out the horrible screeching. Hiccup sat up in his bed, put his prosthetic leg on, put his leather armor on,and woke up the sleeping Night Fury by the name of Toothless. Hiccup asked," Ready for a morning flight bud?", Toothless answered by bouncing around the room, ready to go on his morning flight. Hiccup said," Calm down bud, we don't want to wake my dad up." His father, Stoick the Vast had been up the entire night shoring up the village's defenses in case if Krogan, Viggo, and the dragon fliers attacked. He didn't get home until nearly sunrise. Hiccup and Toothless carefully treaded down the stairs and out the door so they didn't wake Stoick.

10 minutes later....

Hiccup and Toothless streaked across the sky flying so fast that Berk was just a blur as he flew over. He knew that he would one day be the chief of his island, he just hoped he could be as good a chief as his father is now. His thoughts were interrupted by the screeching of a monstrous nightmare. He looked back to see his 17 year old cousin Dakota on his monstrous nightmare named Flame. The funny thing is they had no idea they were cousins until 5 months ago when Stoick mentioned his other brother who happened to be Dakota's father who died during the war with the dragons. So Hiccup, Snotlout, and Dakota were all related. Though Dakota was actually nicer and acted smarter than Snotlout.

Dakota said, " Hey cuz, nice morning for a flight isn't it?", Hiccup didn't hear him because he was thinking of a plan to take Dragon's Edge back from Viggo and Krogan. Dakota flew up next to Hiccup and said," Hello?, Berk to Hiccup, you there?". Hiccup said," Huh?, Sorry I was trying to come up with a plan to take Dragon's Edge back from Viggo and Krogan." . Dakota knew what happened, Hiccup told him everything after it happened, Hiccup had also talked with Dakota and decided he was now old enough and mature enough to join the riders' group, Dakota had become leader of the A-team after joining it right before the Edge was lost after Spitelout left to help fight the Dragon Fliers.

Dakota was also a pretty good strategist, Astrid said he paid great attention to the strategies they used during the 1st war with Viggo. Hiccup asked," So how are you and Lakeisha?", Dakota and Lakeisha had started dating 6 months ago after a nasty fight with a whispering death in which Dakota nearly died after being impaled by a whispering death spike. They finally confessed they loved each other so they finally started dating. But the one thing Dakota and Lakeisha didn't know was that Hiccup and Astrid had a bet about how long it would take for them to start dating. Astrid won the bet. Dakota said," We're doing great, how are you and Astrid?", Hiccup jokingly said," Oh come on you know we're betrothed." Dakota said," Yeah but I had to ask you, hey race you around the island.", Hiccup said," Oh you're on!", and the two streaked off racing around the island. Life on Berk was amazing and interesting.
