Time Weaver: Origins

Chapter 7 - Second time round

As the dark discoloured bird flew towards to boy, the school bell was ringing, signaling the start of the day. As the boy picked up his ice-cream, the bird flew inside. "Ice Scream, I'm giving you a second chance, but this time, you will get extra help. You can control the multiple birds filled with dark energy, and control anyone you want!" Eagle Eye yelled.
"Yes Eagle Eye!" He said as he transformed into Ice Scream. "Time Weaver and Speedy, I'm coming for you!"

During class, Sam kept staring at Katie and was never paying attention to the teacher. "Sam!" Yells the teacher. "Please stop staring at Katie and do your work!" Sam blushed and looked back at his book while Katie turned to face him. Before she could say anything, a loud smash and bang of multiple cars.
"May I go to the bathroom?" Asked Sam and Katie together.
The teacher worried, replied with "Arh class dismissed!" Everyone started to pack up their things and head home.

Sam found a good hiding place to transform. "Ok Gazza, It's Time!" He yelled, holding out his watch.
Katie runs into the girls bathroom, and opens up her jacket. "Ok Luna, Let's Accelerate!" Once both of them were transformed, they jumped out the window and head for the destruction.

As they were following the many scoops scattered across the road, they met up at the bridge. "Well, it's nice to see you." Time Weaver said to Speedy.
"What's cooking good looking?" She replied, giving a wink as they were running.
"Maybe we cut the flirting until we beat him." Time Weaver replied with annoyed sigh.
As they continue their jumping and swinging, they found themselves at the Opera house. Sitting on the top one of the sails, was Ice Scream. "This time, I won't fail! He yelled. "Because now, I have more help!" As he said that, 6 other Ice Screams appeared.
"Looks like me got more work cut out for us!" Time Weaver said, looking at Speedy then back at Ice Scream. As he grabbed his multi-handle, a huge sworn of the birds flew in, making a giant face.
"I am Eagle Eye, and you will give me the power gems!" The face yelled out, letting the entire city know.
Time Weaver stared at the face and gave a reply, "I am Time Weaver, and this is Speedy." Pointing at Speedy he continued, "And we are going to protect this city and it's people at all costs! He yelled. He jumped up and started swinging his sword at the face, destroying it. As he landed, he looked up towards the Ice Screams, "You're next!" He said in a very stern voice. After he said that, the Ice Screams faces changed from confident to worried.

With a quick glace at each other, they started to charge towards the Ice Screams, Time Weaver drawing his sword and Speedy summoning her ninja stars. The Ice Screams, slightly scared, took aim and started firing many shots. Both the newly trained heroes perfectly dodged those shots, and landed hits on original. As Time Weaver went to hit the cannon, he was held down by many shots of ice-cream.

As they went to grab his watch, they were hit by many ninja stars. As Speedy helped him up, she noticed that the original was making a run for it. Once both of them were up, they started to chase. As he ran, he fired many shots back behind him, but was unsuccessful. He stopped running by the time he got to the bridge, and once he was there, he was joined by the other copies.

Once they were lined up, they turned and aimed towards the bridge full of people. Their cannons were shaking as if to gain power, but the Ice Screams yelled out, "Acid Cream!" The scoops landed at the end of the bridge, and started to eat through the road!
"What.. that's not fair!" Both the heroes exclaimed.
"Ok, I'll use the whip to hold the bridge, but that means I won't be able to use it." Time Weaver said, hoping for agreement. Speedy nodded. Time Weaver started the run towards the breaking bridge, flicking out his whip and attaching it to the bottom of the bridge, then throwing it around the concrete supports. The bridge creaked and swayed but it stayed up.
"That's a strong rope!?" Speedy said, staring in confusion.
"Yeah, it's unbreakable!" He replied, looking back towards the Ice Screams. They both started to charge towards them, Time Weaver with his fists ready, and Speedy with a katana.

The shots came raining down, but all were unsuccessful. Both of the heroes decided to use their powers. "Time Warp!" Yelled Time Weaver.
"Speed up!" Yelled Speedy. Once both of the powers were activated, the Ice Scream knew he was in trouble. Time Weaver ran across knocking the cannons off their arms, and them getting destroyed by Speedy. The time, the bird did not go unnoticed by the heroes.

Time Weaver aimed his watch at the bird, once it was aimed, he pressed the top, shooting out a beam. But before it could reach his watch, the concrete supports broke under the pressure, causing the bridge to start falling.

Without thinking, Time Weaver grabbed the whip to try and support the bridge. Speedy seeing this, also grabbed it to help. Due to the the falling, both the heroes were dragged right to the edge. The bird, still in the beam, was slowly coming to the watch, but right before it hit, the heroes were flung of the edge.

While they were falling, they grabbed onto each other, pulling each other for hug, but mid fall, the bird finally reached the watch. As it touched it, the bird was sucked into it, and after a few seconds in was released in a bright light of white.

When they opened their eyes, they were on flat ground. The bridge was fixed! The heroes continued their hug until they were surrounded by all the people they saved, including the boy. One person started clapping, then one more, than another until the entire crowd was cheering.
