Beyond the painting

Chapter 5- The celebration

Even though she really wanted to stay and watch the mageia celebration, Eve knew that everyone back in the boring human world would be worried about her. Amy had become really close friends with Eve in the space of one day and couldn't let her leave so soon so she told eve that she could produce a potion in one of her empty perfume bottles that would make everyone she knows think that Eve had never disappeared. They could use it on her teacher, her parents, her school and everyone else that was with her at the time. Although Eve liked to stick to the rules, she liked the Greek gods more so agreed with Amy's plan.

"Bye Poseidon!" Yelled Amy as she dragged Eve with her.                                "Bye girls, i'll see you at the festival." Replied the master of the seas. The girls walked back up the path for a bit but then cut across the grass and eventually arrived at the front of Amy's family home. It was colossal and plastered in pink paint all over. Beautiful, bright flowers grew in the front garden. Amy turned the door handle and entered the house and Eve trailed in behind."Where's your mum?" Asked Eve sounding worried as she thought she was intruding.          "Don't worry she is at a party till late tonight and she won't even mind one bit if you stay here, she's hardly here anyway so we can have fun, get make-overs, walk around some more and find new things!" Said Amy excitedly raising a finger for each point. So that's exactly what they did for all 3 days but in that time they also made the potion with a few ingredients that you wouldn't usually find in the cupboards at home. Amy had used that same potion many times before like on her teacher at high school, she did no homework for a year but everyone thought she did or when she lied about being in the house to her mother when really she was at a party.

The big day was finally here, it was like waking up on Christmas morning, the food was ready, the skills ready, the band ready and at 9:45 everyone in the area walked down to the big arena in order to make it to the show that was starting at 10:00am. All seats were filled including the the space for the band. The people with the toughest part, the performers, were waiting underneath the arena waiting for their names to be called out. Eve couldn't sit with Amy as Amy was required to sit with the 4 other judges that were selected at random. Eve took a seat near the front of the stadium and at first she didn't notice who was sitting next to her but then moments later the person to the right of her nudged her arm softly."Psssst!" It whispered. She turned around slowly and she was shocked to see that it was Azni! Suddenly, the trumpet was blown and then they announced the first person to the stage. It was Luki the son of Leto the goddess of motherhood also Luki was Amy's crush. She had wanted him to be on at the end but unfortunately that didn't go to plan...
