Alex's POV:
After Jo got dressed and ready to go, we left to go get sushi at one of our favorite restaurants. Once we got there, we both ordered California rolls. They were delicious since we were at our favorite restaurant. After we were done eating, we paid and left to go to our appointment. When we got there, the receptionist called us up to check us in, and then the nurse took us into the ultrasound room. She just checked Jo's vitals and everything before the doctor came in and did the ultrasound. The doctor's name was Dr. Sherman. She was our OBGYN throughout this pregnancy. She did the ultrasound and said the baby was healthy but didn't tell us the gender since we had told her we didn't want to know it. She gave us the envelope with the gender and we left the office. After we left, we went to Janie and Jack to pick out a boy outfit and girl outfit to reveal the gender to both of us. After an hour of being dragged around by Jo, we got to the cashier and waited on the side while he packed the gender outfit in the gift box. We left with a bag with a box that contained the gender in it. Jo and I decided to wait until we got home to open the box. We also wanted to record it for memories. As we got into the house, while boxes were surrounding us, we set up a tripod and camera and started to record. We slowly removed the box and what we saw inside was everything we had ever wanted. We pulled out a shiny dress, a pink coat, and little pink flats. WE WERE HAVING A BABY GIRL!!!!! Jo and I both wanted a girl and we were ecstatic to welcome a little girl into this world.
Jo's POV:
Once we found out we were having a GIRL, we started planning the gender reveal party immediately. At this party, we would be revealing the gender reveal, but on the invitations, we would announce the pregnancy. Of course, I went to Pinterest to search up pregnancy announcements to take pictures to put on the invites. We chose these pregnancy announcements:
They were so cute! Now we just had to make the gender reveal party invites. Here they are:
Ahhh, I was so excited to plan this party. I looked up some inspiration on Pinterest. I found these pictures.
Alex and I both wanted to announce the gender by letting balloons fly out of a box like this:
The party was in about 2 weeks so we had plenty of time to prepare and plan. So excited!
Sorry, this chapter was so short, I kind of had writer's block. What did you guys think of Greys' 300th episode last night? (If you watched it) I sobbed my eyes out the whole time.
