After a month, Rin still talked with Eddie until he told her he was ready to leave the hospital. She asked him about the notebook and he told her to hold onto it unless he died, then she would give it to his family. He was released and after spending five weeks with his family, he died saving a man from a group of gang members. Rin was told not to read it until his funeral. During the funeral, she read it out loud infront of his family and friends. In the notebook held his ideologies and beliefs. At the very end of it, he talked about Erin and how he was going to see her again. He wrote the story of when he snapped and said his thanks to Rin. After hearing about this, the media was all over his story. Looks like he is going to change the world, while not even living on it, Rin thought.
