Andy Biersack ran off stage panting. His friends and band mates followed him. Their tour manager Jon tossed the five of them water bottles which they all gulped down in a flash.
“You guys killed it tonight.” Jon said.
Andy wiped his sweaty forehead and grinned. “Thanks, Jon.”
“Another tour finished!” Jake Pitts exclaimed as he took a seat on a nearby amplifier. “Now I want food.”
“When do you not want food?” Ashley Purdy asked while checking Twitter on his phone.
“When do you not want sex?” Jake countered.
Ashley looked up from his phone and thought about it. “Touche, Pitts.”
Andy bent his head down and chuckled.
“Anyway, “ Jon said, getting the band's attention, “I have some exciting news for you guys.”
Christian Coma, or CC, bounced. “Are we getting turtle-ducks?!”
The others were silent. After a few moments, Jinxx spoke. “What the hell is a turtle-duck?”
“It's exactly what it sounds like.” CC grinned. “So are we getting some?!”
“No.” Jon said.
“WHY?!” CC yelled. Jake slapped him.
“Go on.” he said.
“You guys are going to be on Warped Tour this summer!” Jon said.
“Awesome!” the guys exclaimed.
“When does it start?” Andy asked.
“About two weeks. You guys are gonna play one last show in Hollywood next Friday before it starts.” Jon said before he left.
“Maybe we'll meet some hot chicks on tour.” Ashley said. He nudged Andy.
Andy gave a weak smile. He thought back to that one day five years ago. The day when his heart was shattered. All because of one stupid mistake. One he wished he could take back more than anything.
“Thinking about her?” Jinxx asked.
Andy bit his lower lip. “Yeah.” he admitted.
The guys knew about what happened that day when she left. Neither of the other members were there when that happened, but they had found out when they joined because past members told them. With Andy's constant talk of Arella over the years, the guys knew exactly how Andy felt about her and how sorry, miserable, and horrible he felt over what happened.
“Dude, it's been five years.” Ashley said.
“I know... But I can't get over her. I miss her. And I still love her.” Andy said.
“It's been five years. Things change. She may not be the same girl.” Jake said.
“There are plenty of other girls out there.” CC said.
“But none of them are Arella.” Andy said.
“Just give someone else a chance. Maybe you'll find someone on tour this summer.” Ashley said.
I doubt it., Andy thought. He forced a smile. “Maybe.”
