"He has been gone over a year.He was suppose to come home in April.I don't wan't to lose him." I said to my bro John.
"He is ok Dave,don't worry." Is all he could say before I interrupted him.
"What if he is not? What if he died and the letter hasn't came yet? Even though he is my brother, I love him. You wouldn't understand your an only child!" I yelled trying not to cry but failing. My brother, Dirk, has been in the army for one year and four months. He was suppose to be home in April, it's August. I have dreams about him. It was like he was an angel. He told me I was the angel and angels shouldn't be scared.
"Bring,bring" my phone went off. It was Rose. "Dave you should open your bedroom door!" What is she talking about? I went to my bedroom door and opened it with sarcasm. I saw my brother. At first I thought I was hallucinating. Then I hugged him. He stumbled a bit but I caught him.
"Why where you late getting home?" I said crying.
"I was in the hospital. For my leg." He said setting on the couch showing me and John his leg."Hi John, hows Nanna?" He said to John with a questing look.
"She's fine kinda worried about you." He told him, giving him a manly embrace.
"Well tell her Im fine." Dirk told John.
"I will leave you guys alone bye guys."John said getting his stuff and leaving.
"Jake. Hows Jake?"Dirk asked eagerly.
"Jakes fine he is still on that island thing."I said getting up to call Jade.
"Hello?" Jades voice came over the phone.
"Bros home and he wants to see his Jake." I said looking at bro.
"Ok dokey! Ill send a portal over!"Jade said with her usual exited tone.
ZAP! A portal appeared.Me and Bro walk though it into Jakes bedroom.He was asleep with Bro's picture cliched in his arm.Dirk wobbled over to him and got in to bed with him and toke the picture out of his arms.
