(Narrated by Violet Dradley) As I stared at the ceiling, I cried. In my old school, I was the popular one. The one with expectations. "A bitch with a life" they called me. Then, I moved to California for my grandfather's business. He sells fucking bath soap. My father and mother abandoned me at a young age. So, I live with my grandma and grandpa. They are not that old; not retired. The first day of school was kind of a blur. All I can really remember was some bitch trying to trip me. And someone threw their lasagna on my pants. So, instead of being called "a bitch with a life", I am called, "the bitch on her period." I knew that crying would be a natural thing for me. Which it was, but crying it wasn't the kind of crying I had in mind.
