My bestie

"Elizabeth wake up," I hear yelling from downstairs. I rub my eyes and get out of my bed. I look into the mirror and instantly regret it. My hair is tangled and it looks like I haven't slept in a week. I pull out some black leggings, a light blue over sized sweater, and some black ankle boots. I brush my shoulder length auburn hair and pull it into a high ponytail. "Beth, hurry," my mom yells. "Coming," I say grabbing my purse. I run down the stairs and hug my mom. "Have a good day at school love," she says kissing the top of my head. "I will." I grab my backpack and open the door. My best friend Olivia was in her car waiting for me. I open the door and hop in the car. I put my seat belt on and close the door. "Hey, Liv," I say reaching across the car to hug her. "Hi, Beth." We drive for a bit before we are outside a cafe only a few minutes away from the school. "Hello, may I take your order," a feminine sounding voice says to us. I look up to see a pretty girl with brown hair. She had pink tips. "Yes please. I want a  medium Pumpkin Spice Latte, and she wants a hot chocolate please," Liv says to the barista. "No problem. I feel like I recognize you," she says. "Do you go to Cherry blossom high," I ask her. "Yes I do. I'm Harper." "You are in my English class," I tell her happily. Olivia and I stand by the bar and talk about our studies. "Didn't you hear that Rebecca and John dating, again," she tells me rolling her eyes. My mouth drops open and I stare at her in disbelief. "Yeah I know right. I can't believe that she would do that to you," Olivia says pulling me into a hug. "They won't last a month," Harper says walking up behind us. "I hope not," I say honestly. Harper gives me a small smile and hands us our drinks. We thank her and we start towards the school. Harper said that she just had to get out of uniform before she could come to school with us. It was going to be quite a day I could already tell.

I know that this isn't the best story ever written. It will get better with more chapters I just haven't wrote a book in a while because I have been focusing on short stories and poems. Thank you for reading and the next chapter will be up soon.
