Chapter 2

Angel POV:

"Thank you so much for looking after them again Cody." I said as I grabbed my car keys and gave Cody a hug.

"It's no problem that's what a babysitter is for."

"Where would I be with out you? Alright you know the rules. They only get 2 hrs of tv a day so make sure you spread it out the day. To keep them occupied whilst there not watching tv I bought them a new crafts set, but I'm sure Archie will want to dress up so Peyton will end up helping him. Lunch is in the fridge and their epi pens our in the first aid box. Make sure Archie isn't out in the sun too long if you go to the park. But hey you know all this, so I'll be off." I gave my twins a goodbye hug and went of to work.

By the time I got there I was already 10 minutes late.

"Johnson!" My boss shouted as I walk threw the door.
I worked at HMV in the city centre and it's a Saturday so it's safe to say my boss wasn't going to be happy about me arriving late.
"Yes sir?"

"You're late. Again." My boss said to me with his arms crossed.

"I know I'm sorry. I had to get the kids settled with Cody before I left. And Peyton wasn't in her usual mood so I had to cheer her up." I babbled on.

"Enough Angel. You've been late too many times. I'm afraid you're out. You will get this month's pay since I'm not completely heartless but you're fired."

On my way home I had about 5 panic attacks. I didn't know what to do. I have 2 children that depend on me and no job. How will I feed them? How will I buy them presents? And get them new clothes? They will me so ashamed of me.

I walked through the door of our 2 bedroom house to find Cody chasing the twins around in a crazy costume that I can only assume Archie made.

Once Cody spotted me, he stopped.

"Hey, you're home early. What happened?" He asked.

"I got fired."

"What? Why?"

"I've been late too many times. I don't know what I'm going to do." I sat down on the coach and cried.
