The clock read "7:42". It was sunday evening, I think. We had been stranded on this stupid island for so long I had lost track of the days. I had been on a cruise ship heading to the Caribbean from the gulf of Mexico. But that was on the 9th of May. I had no idea in the world where we were or how long we had been there. All I know is that we were running out of supplies to keep our blood flowing through our filthy, weak, troubled bodies. We had only sailed about a hundred miles before one of the engines blew in the ship. It felt like an earth-

quake had just hit about a mile from the ship and was determined to take the boat in and under the dangerous water of the gulf. With out all six engines, this cruise would not continue on. We started to dive head first into the chilling water to avoid being trapped on the boat beneath the water. Most people made it off safely but others were not so lucky. After the water reached the highest level of the boat, it trapped everyone beneath the deck of the ship. I was so glad to see my family had made it to safety unharmed. But wait.... where was josh at I asked my mom trembling. She said she had no idea and hadnt seen him since the engine blew out. Josh was no where in sight. We walked around the island asking other people if they had seen him but they all replied with the same answer, "No". Tears swelled up in my eyes quickly. I tried holding them back as well as I could but, that didnt last very long. My mom and I had the same expression on our faces. Blank but at the same time full of many different expressions. Tears started to roll down my face slowly. The only person not showing any emotion was so ever was my dad. This was his way of dealing with a tradgic situation such as this one. He didnt show it but I know that inside he was hurt. And he was hurt real bad.
