Where are your priorities?

"Tanz shouldn't we be in class?" Brandy asked sitting down next to Leo ,who was half asleep the mid day slump hitting him.

"Oh come on Jinx live a little missing one class isn't gonna be that bad." I say with a smile sitting on the grass runny my fingers thought my ginger hair. I had cut it few days before school started. I don't know why it's not like I hated having long hair. To be honest I did miss it a little. I miss putting it up in a pony tail or a french twist if I wanted. I shake away the though the last thing I want to think about is my hair when i'm ditching class. That's the kind of stuff i'll think about in class. We have only been in school for about 1 month. I look over to Leo who has started playing with his DS. He has had that thing for 10 years now. He gets new games every weekend. Mostly because he comes in to the game shop every weekend. The only reason I know that is because I work there. I play enough games to know what's good and what's not. I wouldn't call myself a gamer but I won't say i'm bad a video games. Plus I have other thing to fill my time. When i'm not at school or work. I pull my school bag close to me pulling out a notebook that is leather bounded book. Brandy looks at me and frowns.

"You brought  a spell book to school?" She asked

"Who said it was a spell book?" I ask with an evil smile"please Jinx you're acting like i've never done this before."She rolls her eyes and Leo closes his DS and moves closer to me now.He always liked looking at what spells we're in books.He said it was like being in a real life Final Fantasy.He is kind a nerd like that total gamer.

"You know sometimes I think you don't remember my name."Brandy(Jinx) said sticking her tongue out at me.

"I remember...Brandy..."I tease her

"Jinx sounds better." Leo laughs then takes the book out of my hands.

"HEY GIVE THAT BACK THAT'S MINE!"I say taking the book forcefully out of his hands."And yes Jinx you never know when you're gonna need a spell or two."

(After school at work)

I'm at Game Shack reading (not something I shouldn't be doing) we don't have anyone in the store and my shift is over in 5 minutes. I hear the bell to the front door ring and I slowly close the book I was reading."Welcome to Game Shack, how can I help you?" I stand up and place my book on the chair beside me. When I turn back around i'm face to face with my bully at school Bennett. He is smiling brightly, i've never seen him in the store. I mean it's not like we are the best game shop in town. We sell used games he has enough money to get new games."Um hi Bennett...do you need something?"

"Hey Tanz-"

"Tanzanite, only my friends call me Tanz."I cross my arms frowning at him.

"Sorry Tanzanite, but last time I checked we're friend's."Bennett smiled and reaches for my hand on the other side of the counter. I pull my hand away as his finger touches mine. He bring his hand back and runs it  through his blond hair. His eyes are a soft blue that every girl in our school loved. This include Brandy and I,but we would never tell him.

"Yeah? Well you have a funny way of showing it."I cross my arms, he leans closer to me with an evil grin.

"I have a proposition for you,if your up for it."

"Really, and who's says i'll take you up on this propoistion?" I say unfolding my arms placing them on the glass case between Bennett and I. But my face really said I don't care.He smiles even bigger now.

"Oh come on Tanzanite, I know you've go the hots for me,why don't we hook-up?"He asked cocking an eyes brow at me.

"Where are your priorities?" I ask with a questioning look on my face.

"Come on Tanz just you and me.My place... tonight.I'll show you a good time." Bennett slides a piece of paper over to the glass case"10:00pm okay?"I side smile and just nod my head sightly. He walks out of the store"See you later." He winks and opens the door leaving.I look down at the  piece of paper  it has an address on it.
