A Royal Rescue

Adrian awoke it was slightly darker then when he was conscious. Adrian took his had to his head

"Ouch!!!! My head, I've never felt this much pain in my life......Wait that girl" Adrian looked around and couldn't see her in sight

"Did someone take her away" He thought "I....I..I need to find her" Adrian stood up and searched his surroundings

"Where do I start, these woods are huge" Adrian wondered to himself

After hours of walking Adrian stumbled  upon a cottage, the lights were on and the chimney was smoking

"Someone must be In there, maybe they can help me, but what if that's the guy who knocked me out, I better be careful" Adrian snuck to the edge of the window, he looked through the gap in between where the curtains met and saw the girl, her wrists looked tied together behind a pole and she was talking to someone but he couldn't see who.

Adrian moved to the front door "Crap it's locked" He thought to himself. If I break it down, I could start an instant fight, I need to think cautiously,hmmmm... He looked around and noticed one of the windows was slightly opened.

Adrian opened it and slid through, he was in a room, there looked like there had been a struggle. Most of the books from the bookshelf had been knocked off and a lamp had fallen to the floor and smashed.
The room was dark but underneath the door was light "This must be where he is keeping her" he thought

Adrian slightly opened the door to hear what they were saying

"I said give it to me now!"The man yelled
"For the last time I don't know what you are talking about the girl screamed

"You know exactly what I am talking about, give me the miraculous!" The man yelled again this time with more anger in his voice

"I don't even know what a miraculous is!" The girl reasoned

"I've had enough of this crap!" The man went and slapped the girl hard in the face, her head hung down and you could tell she had been knocked out cold

"I need to go out and calm myself before I kill her with my bare hands" The man talked to himself as he made his way out of the door. As soon as he heard the door lock Adrian raced over to the girl.

"Miss...Miss please wake up, I must get you out of here" Adrian examined her face, she didn't move.
Adrian went to the back of the pole to untie her wrists. The girls nails clean and fine and she clearly took good care of them.
Adrian untied the rope, her wrists were red and swollen. Adrian picked the girl up bridal style and carried her away from the house.

It had now turned dark, Adrian had started a fire and the girl lay upon the log of a fallen tree
"Wha...what.... what's going on" The girl woke up in a panic

"Welll...um you.....um...see" Adrian said awkwardly

"Wait...did you save me?" The girl asked

"Yeah..I did" Adrian  said with a faint smile

"Thankyou, Thankyou so much" The girl happily exclaimed, but her smile soon turned into worry

"How is your head?" The girl exclaimed as she moved over to Adrian

"It's fine, really it's fine" He said to her

The girl placed her hand to Adrian's head "OUCH!" He shouted "I am so,so,so,so sorry" The girl exclaimed as she bowed to him

"It's fine, it's fine, please don't be sorry" Adrian frantically told the girl

She looked down at him, she gave a little smile. It was the cutest smile Adrian had ever seen. He saw the girls cheeks turn a faint pink as she went back to examine his head.

"I promise I'll be gentle" she said in a sweet toned voice

"Hmmm, there is a lump on your head but it should go down in a few days" The girl said again as she examined his head more

"If you don't mind me asking I would like to know your name, I mean you did rescue me" The girl looked to Adrian

Should I tell her my real name? Or make one up? Adrian thought to himself. Well she hasn't seemed to notice me yet so I don't see why I can't use my real name

"I'm Adrian" he said as he placed his hand in front of her for a hand shake

"I'm Marinette" she said cheerfully as she placed her hand into his

Her hands were so soft and gentle

"Nice to meet you, Marinette" Adrian said happily as he shook her hand

Marinette blushed and went to warm herself by the fire

"Are you cold?" Adrian asked Marinette

"Just a bit" she said folding her arms and rubbing them up and down to keep her self warm

"Adrian walked over to Marinette and wrapped his arms around her

"I hope you don't mind" he said awkwardly

"No not at all, I'm actually starting to get warmer already" Marinette said as she snuggled into Adrian's firm chest

After a while of sitting in front of the fire in silence Adrian finally suggested that they go home

"But the thing is I have no idea where we are" Adrian told Marinette

"I've been going through these woods for as long as I can remember, so if I'm right we should be at least an hour away for my house, follow me Adrian" Marinette exclaimed as she walked off

"This is my house, would you like to stay the night?" Marinette asked

"I really must leave, other wise my father would be quite mad" Adrian said

"Will I see you again,Adrian?" Marinette asked with a questioned look on her face

"You can count on that" Adrian assured as he waved her goodbye

Hey guys I would love to know your opinion on this story, any ideas you might have I would love to know
I'm also trying to realise each chapter as fast as possible but I do have school so a new chapter should come out each day to every two days and maybe even two or three chapters a day. It really all depends when I have spare time which is basically only on the weekend anyways
