- Chapter 20.

Vic's POV –

I gather my suitcases and throw them into the trunk of my car. Today was it; Diana wanted to return home with her parents.

I didn't want her to go back, I really didn't. I'm being selfish though. She's making the right and smart decision. She wants to return back to school and she wants to try and return her life back to normal. I should want to help her with anything she wants, but I'm being selfish right now and don't want her to leave my side.

Diana would most likely be returning back to California tomorrow. Meaning, we would go back to only talking over Facebook and Skype. It was fun, but I would never get the chance to hug her, hold her hand, or kiss her.

I close the trunk of the car and return back inside.

"Do we–well, you–have everything you need," Diana asks, "I don't want you to leave anything behind."

I nod my head, "Yeah, I got everything."

Diana just nods her.

"Well, I guess this is goodbye," Diana says turning to Jaime and Vic, "It was really nice meeting you two and thank you so much for letting me and Vic stay here. I know how much of a burden I can be at times."

Tony chuckles, "You were no burden at all. You're really fun to be around." Diana moves forward and gives Tony a hug.

"Yeah, you are fun to be around. We're glad we got to meet Vic's girlfriend. He's definitely got himself a keeper." Jaime says before hugging Diana.

I smile. I do really got myself a keeper. Diana is absolutely amazing and I couldn't ask for a better girlfriend.

Diana blushes at what Jaime says, "Thanks. I know I'm an amazing girl, don't need to remind me how good I am for Vic."

"You're such an ass." I say as I put my arm around Diana's waist.

Diana laughs, "You still love me."

"That I do." I smile and kiss Diana.

Jaime makes a disgusted sound, "Ew! No PDA, please? I would really like to keep my lunch down."

I flip the finger at Jaime and kiss Diana again just to piss Jaime off. Diana realized what I was doing and I could feel her smile in between the kiss.

Diana hugs Tony and Jaime once more then walks out to the car.

"Thanks for letting me stay here guys. I've missed chillin' with you guys. I'll see y'all later." I say my goodbyes to Tony and Jaime.

"It was nice catching up with you again, Vic. It was really fun meeting Diana. You got yourself a good girl there; don't fuck it up." Jaime advises me.

"I'm trying not to fuck up. I'm trying to be the best I can." I smile, say goodbye to Jaime and Tony then walk out to the car.

I get in the car, put my seatbelt on, turn the car on, then turn to Diana. She was staring off into her own little world. She was probably just thinking about how it would be for her once she gets back with her parents.

"Diana," I nudge her, bringing her back to reality, "You ready?"

She looks over at me, a nervous look on her face and nods her head.

I put the car into drive and drove off onto the main road.

Diana's POV –

The car ride back was completely silent, well, aside from the radio playing. Vic and I only exchanged a few words, but we never got into a real conversation.
