Chapter 1- Pilot

Narrator's P.O.V:

"NA NA NA BOO BOO YOU CAN'T CATCH ME!!" Kat screamed, laughing as her friends chased her around the backyard.

"Not faiw not faiw!! I twipped and fell and that's why I didn't get you!!" Ashton yelled, pouting.

"Don't be a baby Ash!" Michael yelled, ahead of his pouty friend as Luke just laughed, sitting under the porch.

"I don't wanna pway this game anymowe, it's stupid" Ashton pouted and stopped running before he tripped over his own lanky legs, walking over to stand with Luke. Kat stopped running suddenly, making Michael run into her back, giggling at his flushed face afterwards.

"Sowwy Kitty" he murmured, blushing and rubbing the bridge of his nose.

"Iz okay" she giggled again, walking over with the two other boys. "why don't you ever play tag with us Wuke?" She asked, jutting out her lower lip.

"I get sunbuwned easiwy and I don't wanna get one again" Luke mumbled.

"Okay den letz go inside and pway a game" she suggested and the three boys agreed, following her into her living room.

"Letz pway chawades" Luke suggested excitedly. They smiled in agreement and walked through the door, sitting in the middle of Kat's living room, sitting on the couch while Kat stood in the middle of the couches.

"Okay me fiwst!!!" She said excitedly and started moving around and doing motions.

They played charades for a while before Kat's mum called her and the little kids to eat.

"Mmm you're lasagnas so gooooddd Ms.Crawford!!!" Michael exclaimed while shoving food into his mouth.

"Aw well thank you Michael, I love being able to make dinner for you three, Kat never eats a lot of dinner anyways" she gives a knowing look to Kat and she just blushes and looks down.

After dinner they all get up and help Ms.Crawford get the dishes into the dishwasher.

"So I asked your parents and since it's a Friday they said if you'd like you can sleep over!" Ms.Crawford exclaimed and they all cheered. They went upstairs and changed into their PJ's, (they kept spares in the house since the boys came over often) brushing their teeth and getting ready for bed. They all say together on Kat's oversized king bed in a circle.

"Can I ask you guys somting?" Kat whispered, but the little boys heard her.

"Of couwse"

"Anythimg"

"Whas up?"

They all replied at the same time.

"Will we always be fwiends no mattew what?" She asked, looking down, her eyes turning glossy.

"Of couwse!!!" They all responded quickly.

"We're always going to be hewe fow you no mattew what!" Luke said.

"Why would you have to ask us that tho?" Michael asked with curious eyes as Ashton stayed silent but looked at her with expectent eyes.

"M-m-my mummy... I...I heawd m-mummy saying dat.. my-my d-d-daddy is w-w-w-weaving..." Kat exclaimed, the boys giving her confused looks. "T-they said h-he's g-hoing to w-weave and not come b-b-back and i-i- don't want you guys to weave meeee!!!" She broke out into tears on the last part and all three boys hugged her.

"Kitty we'll always be hewe no mattew what! No mattew how much you push us away, we will nevew let you leave us" Ashton said and kissed her cheek, making her blush.

"M-m-my mummy doesn't know I know and pwease don't tell hew... It's ouw secwet..." She mumbled and they all nodded.

"Best fwiends fowevew, no mattew what!" Michael said, standing up on the bed with wobbly legs.

"YEAH!!!" They all replied and stood up too, hugging and then all laughing and laying down next to each other, Kat in the middle feeling loved and cared for by the 3 little guys that are her best friends. Her eyes got droopy and the last thing that she heard was the cute snores coming from the boys that lulled her to sleep.
